Sara is a Vegan Italian Foodie who left Italy and moved to London almost three years ago to feed hungry Londoners with comfort homemade Italian food. No animal ingredients are involved in her dishes, but only the passion for traditional Italian food that she grew up with in her home in Italy. Pomodoro E Basilico is her montly Vegan Supper Club based in Queens Park, but also pasta making classes an

our favourite festival is set in Sussex RH19 the second weekend of September (12th-14th) and I am looking for extra staff to cover shifts. We’ll be cooking, so minimal experience in working at a hot food stall or a kitchen is required. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🔪

CHERRY PIE 🍒🩷
my love-hate summer affair 😅
as much as I LOVE the moment brings me my 2 boxes of cherries every sunday in Marylebone; and I LOVE to challenge to see how long it takes for a pie to sell out at each market.. well, by the end of July I start hating the whole messy sticky process of pitting cherries in the heat 🤪😵‍💫
like every damn great thing, it gets to a point when it’s time for it the end so we can build up expectation for next year 😅
this means I might call it quits and make this weekend the last of 2025.. it all depends on how fast I’ll sell pies today: YES IT IS ALL IN YOUR HANDS! 😂😂 play your cards right!

completely wiped out in Marylebone with only a few pestos and 1 slice of torta della nonna left; and another good Sunday in our new stall in Queens Park 😍

📍The Maenllwyd Inn, Rudry: countryside local pub serving lovely vegan mushrooms & ale pie with mash - tasty tapenade bruschetta - side salad.
📍Scaredy Cats Cafe, Cardiff: strong oat flat white.
📍Oat & Bean, Cardiff: mozzarella, pesto & tomato croissant - roasted tomato & hummus toasted sourdough.
📍(detour) The Bakery on the Water, Burton on the Water (Cotswolds): vegetable pasty and vegan sausage roll with oat flat whites.

sorry not sorry, I left the kitchen to go see my favourite band ever! you might have seen me on BBC breakfast this morning and I’m now queueing outside Principality Stadium in Cardiff for their opening night ❤️‍🔥
this means NO MARKETS this weekend, as I’ll be recovering from all the singing (and crying).

we went for an evening walk in the woods tonight looking for chanterelles, since everyone on facebook is posting pictures of them, but again we didn’t find any.
instead we found not one, but two trees of beautiful WILD OYSTER mushrooms!
what a great way to end the day! 🥳

QUEENS PARK, I’m back! 🎉
it’s been a long wait but THIS SUNDAY I’ll be back to my old “home” neighbourhood in London with Pomo Deli 😍🥰🥳
I might be even more excited than June 2018 when I started selling vegan burgers there 😳🤭
Even tho I now live in beautiful Sussex, Queens Park is the place I moved to when coming from Italy, stayed for 11 years and will always be home, forever!
So come and see me again, this time with all my homemade organic jars of pesto, artisan cakes, tarts and cookies, focaccia & farinata trays. Pomo Deli is what was missing 💚
