15Hatfields has scooped two major honours at the CIT Impact Awards 2025 - Best Venue within London and the Best Supplier – Grand Prix Award! 🏆🏆

These awards are a powerful recognition of our mission to lead the way in sustainable events. They celebrate a venue that’s redefining what ethical, low-impact events can look like - from our Counting the Cost of Carbon campaign to transparent carbon reporting and ethical procurement.

Being named the top supplier across all categories is also a powerful endorsement of our team’s commitment to reshaping the events industry - and a reminder that sustainability and delivering exceptional events can go hand in hand.

Happy World Environment Day! 🌍

Plastic pollution permeates every corner of the planet - even in our bodies in the form of microplastics. World Environment Day 2025 calls for collective action to tackle plastic pollution.

At 15Hatfields we are addressing plastic pollution head-on!

For the past 15 years, we’ve campaigned against this pressing issue, and in 2019, we committed to by eradicating single-use plastic from our venue. ♻️

Here are some of the things we're doing to make a difference:

🍵 Plastic-free catering: We’ve replaced PET plastic film with compostable alternatives and serve tea in plastic-free, compostable temples from Teapigs, saving 52,000 plastic teabags over two years.

🧴Cleaning products: Our cleaning supplies use 100% recycled packaging, including bottles made from UK milk bottles.

🌱 Innovative partnerships: We’ve teamed up with organisations such as Pulse Environmental and Terracycle to prevent non-recyclable plastic from ending up in landfill.

Tackling plastic waste requires more than just recycling - it demands systemic change in how we produce and consume plastic. We’re proud to lead by example and encourage other venues to join us in this crucial effort. 🙌

It’s been an exciting week at 15Hatfields as we went “out with the old and in with new” as we took delivery of brand-new chairs for our venue.

And these aren’t just any chairs, these are Casala Lynx X1 chairs – as a venue committed to environmentally responsible procurement it was important for us to not only source chairs that will be comfortable for our clients and their delegates, but also ensure they were highly sustainable and compliant.

The Casala Lynx X1 chairs fit the bill as:

👊 They meet or exceed industry standards for strength, durability and fire safety
♻️ They’re designed for disassembly making recycling and refurbishment easy. Highly recoverable steel and plastic materials ensure minimal landfill waste and maximise circularity
🌍 All its certifications confirm responsible sourcing and production, while Casala’s ‘Circular Program’ ensures long-term sustainability through refurbishing and re-use

We’re delighted with our new chairs, but it was sad to say goodbye to our old ones – however in line with our sustainable ethos we’re thrilled that Casala have taken our old chairs and will be refurbishing them to give them a second life and a new home as part of their Circular Program 🙌
