A podcast host recently asked if I regret spending so much time developing our no-money zoom blackjack service during lockdown, especially since we no longer offer it.

Not at all.

It was one of the best things I've ever done as a business owner.

The relationships we built opened more doors than anything else we've done. The community that formed around the project, and the wonderful people who helped test it, gave me some of my most valued memories.

It also taught me to stop confusing business survival with positioning yourself to win.

Most importantly, it made us more teachable and gave us a blueprint for preparation.

Regret? No.

Just gratitude. 🙏😀

Gratitude is my word for the year 2026.

2025 has been our best year yet in business, especially on the corporate side. With growth comes the temptation to let the smaller, familiar jobs feel like a grind, but that’s my cue to reset.

Our regular no-money casino nights and fortnightly poker games are the bread and butter. Remembering that keeps everything in perspective.
