In the heatwave 🌞

Our flowers are all inside as it’s soooo hot outside this week.

Most of our houseplants are inside too. We get the direct sun on the shopfront in the afternoon and it’s too intense for the tropical plants.

BUT we’re full of plants inside AND we had a lovely new plant delivery this week.

It’s always a challenge to keep this many plants happy when the weather is extreme. Thanks to my amazing team who spend many hours watering, pruning, adjusting the shop temperature and moving plants and flowers around to keep them happy inside and out 💚 I took a moment today to snap some nice pics.

We’ve upgraded our loyalty scheme so it’s now for EVERYONE not just plant shoppers. Whoop!

It’s a pretty familiar process:

* Get points for purchases, and get extra points for things like friend referrals, reviews, newsletter subscriptions etc

* You get points in the shops or online every time you make a purchase

* Spend them online or in the shops

* There are a few tiers of points and we’ll get those set up and running with some exclusive rewards in the next few weeks.

This new version replaces our loyalty card and stamp. We’ll miss our 🐝 stamp but this is much better as you can gain points on everything you buy in either shop.^

But please keep hold of your stamped cards as we’ll keep them going for 6 more months. If you’ve got a stamped cards and would prefer points then please let us know via email. We’ll figure out how to do it. But please don’t bring them into the shop to make the switch. It’s a behind the scenes type work-around that we can’t do in the shop.
