From Jimi Hendrix taking to the Olympia stage to Vivienne Westwood making fashion history here, creativity has always been part of Olympia’s story. 🎸

In the first episode of The Makers Edition, Des takes us behind the scenes of Pillar Hall, home to Idalia Restaurant & Pepperbird speakeasy bar, exploring the craft behind the spaces and the atmosphere that brings them to life. Think pistachio cheesecake, cocktails served in a glass bag (yes, really! 👀🍸) and live music every Friday and Saturday, moving from R&B into jazz. 🎷

As part of Olympia's partnership with The BRIT School the UK's leading free arts school for young people aged 14-19 - two of their students have been awarded a bursary, to support them as they set out on the next phase of their creative journey.

This year's winners are Theatre alumna, Nefertiti, and Music alumna, Amelia. Here, they talk about how the Olympia Bursary has helped open doors, ease pressure, and keep them focused on their craft.
