Created the decor for Warwick District Council’s “Ignite” Conference for Creatives this week.

I think I’m missing events as this is the second Easter table I’ve done this year!

Recently I’ve taken to rescuing broken daffodils in the park; the ones the dogs and kids break as they maraude around without a care in the world. I thought it would be nice for them to have a new home instead of just dying in the grass. It’s become a bit of an obsession and each new variety I come across is a treasure.

For the Easter table I added a single £1 bunch of daffodil buds to add some new life, as some of the rescued blooms have seen better days, but I quite like that. One even came with a free tiny snail. I’ve teamed them with those bunnies again and I stole a few of the girls eggs that matched. Sorry gals.

Vashti Bunyan wrote and played in the 60s, then she bought a gypsy caravan and toured the British countryside on a pilgrimage to meet Donovan in the Hebrides. She recorded this album then disappeared from the music world until she recorded a new album 40 years later.

Happy Easter everyone. This year I got out everything I have to do with Easter, some of which I’ve had for 20 years and threw it all together in one big glorious mess. There’s not much room to eat but who needs needs to sit down to eat an Easter egg and a hot cross bun!
