If you are interested in hiring the Falconwood Community Centre for a group or private booking, please only email [email protected]. The Centre Manager will reply to all emails. Office open Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 9am to 1pm.

News about the Youth Café held at Bishop Ridley Church on the Green, Falconwood

For anyone who is not aware, a few of the Youth Café leaders met the other week and a decision was made to stop our Youth Café that is held on the 2nd & 4th Saturday every month at Bishop Ridley Church, The Green, Welling DA16 2PG.

We have been struggling with volunteers and youth numbers for some time.

We are hopeful that at some point in the future we could make another go at it but it seemed to make sense to pause it for the time being.

However, there is some good news about the Youth Café held on a Friday afternoon/evening at New Community Church.

Here are some more details:

Youth Café
Held at New Community Church, Sidcup

Friday Fun nights are for everyone aged 11 to 18
To come for a social, food and games

They vary from karaoke nights to day trips to the lakes.

Every Friday night from 3pm to 5.30pm as a drop in

A massive thanks to Nigel, Chris and Leanne for helping to put up this fabulous Christmas tree outside the Falconwood community centre today for tomorrow's yearly tradition of Carols around the Green event. The Salvation Army band will be playing Carols, Bishop Ridley Church will provide refreshments. The Bolthole Micro Pub will be open and DB Catering will be selling hot food.
An open invitation to everyone.
Nick from Blackfen Fruit and Vegetable Stall at the Oval (open Saturday and Sunday's) kindly collected and delivered the tree.

Its a free event and happens every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (term time only).
