"Miss Mo Presents ... The Tina Mo Show” (Finally!).
Sunday 2 October, 3:30 - 9:00pm (BST)
This is ...
1) a Celebration of Life (aka a right proper knees up)
2) a Global Crowdfunder via ZOOM for the inaugural Miss Mo Presents ... Art & Poetry anthology at Mandarin Press™️ - a limited print-run hardback edition. Watch this space for Zoom link!
3) a Mini school reunion for me ol' muckers at Walpole Grammar (WGS) & Elthorne High
4) a Fundraiser throughout the entire event (3:30 - 9:00pm), to include: Auction AND raffle. Plus freebies & goodie bags up for grabs. Please come early to peruse the items for auction. If you’re really lucky, an item might have your name on it, so please take it.
5) a Family event of music-making session and/or jammin’ session at 4:30 5:30pm — dependent on who turns up on the day. If no musicians rock up, there will be a KARAOKE session instead courtesy of YouTube.
6) a Wonderful Smorgasbord of FREE CAKE, SAVOURY PASTRIES, BEVERAGES & other stuff - supplied by local business sponsors + goodie bags including Tee-shirts etc. However, "The F**ket Bucket" contents are reserved for the performance slot between 6:00 - 8:30pm.
7) a LIVE ’n’ DIRECT performance of Spoken word, including monologues, and other contributions from Award-winning Writers, Artists & Artistes - kicking off 6:00pm (BST) sharp until 8:00pm. This will include a 45 minute interval / refuelling pitstop. Second half starts at 7:15 sharp.
Please bear in mind that the pub runs a separate QUIZ night at 7:30pm in the Thai kitchen downstairs. WARNING: Any “Miss Mo Presents” guests found defecting to the Sunday Quiz will be suitably punished. (Oo-er, missus, haha! We’re jokin’, not joking.)
Guests can still order food at tables downstairs in the pub itself, or upstairs in the intimate Bonsie's Room - but please make your own bookings by email in advance (see weblink below). There will be vegan & veggie options, especially arranged by Miss Mo as she's so boss, HAHAHA.
ALSO, any Global ZOOM guests will also be welcomed at 6:00pm & again at 7:15 There will be a prize for the furthest “Zoom” guest/s (in geographical terms). If you’re really lucky, you might win a copy of the upcoming first edition of Miss Mo Presents … Political Surrealism (working title) art & poetry anthology due out in 2023, first edition, Mandarin Press™️.
**BREAKING** A mystery world-class drummer & music producer has kindly pledged ONE FREE drumming lesson to a very lucky winner to be announced sometime between 7:15 - 9:00pm. Plus, signed apparel by “mystery” man, such as tee-shirts, will go under the hammer. Whoo- hoo!!!
NB - The above listed are the main ingredients. Timing slots may be vary slightly due to unforeseen events, however, The Tina Mo Show from 6:00-21:00 is an unmovable feast.
