A familiar group reunited around the table this time last week.
 
We had the pleasure of welcoming Benoit Blin, Cherish Finden , Liam Charles of Bake Off: The Professionals to The Stafford London for afternoon tea.
 
For our pastry team, the occasion brought back memories of an incredible journey — from the first bake to the final, where they finished as runners-up.
 
From building a floating Tiki bar to creating an elaborate Masquerade Ball for the final, the journey brought no shortage of ambitious challenges, creativity and pressure. A lovely opportunity to come together once again and look back on an experience the team will always remember.

From Portuguese sparkling and still w**es to exceptional Ports, each has been selected to accompany a menu by MICHELIN-starred chef Michael Caines and his team, featuring Orkney scallops, roast sea bass, grouse and more.
