Tonight, The Magic Circle hosted its annual Awards Ceremony.

At a star-studded celebration at our London HQ, the following honours were presented:

🏆 Juan Tamariz : Devant Award (for contributions to international magic)
🏆 Penn & Teller : David Berglas Award (for originality, creativity and showmanship)
🏆 Duncan Trillo : Maskelyne Award (for dedication to British magic)
🏆 Wayne Dobson : Carlton Award (for contributions to Comedy Magic, awarded posthumously)
🏆 Fergus Roy : Eddie Dawes Award (for services to magic literature)
🏆 Matt Pritchard : Chapender Award (for contributions using magic beyond entertainment)
🏆 Katherine Rhodes : Silver Wand (for service to The Magic Circle)
🏆 Rodney James Piper : Silver Wand (for service to The Magic Circle)
🏆Charlie Burgess : Silver Wand (for services to The Magic Circle)

Penn & Teller ‘finally’ inducted into The Magic Circle!

After 50 years performing together, the legendary duo have been welcomed as Honorary Members of The Inner Magic Circle - our highest honour. The long-awaited moment took place on the steps of the London Palladium during their 50th Anniversary West End residency.

Penn & Teller said: “We’re honoured that the Magic Circle has invited us to be members, after we’ve violated its cardinal rule - don’t give away secrets - for five decades. This is going to be fun.”
