Looking for creative ways to keep the kids busy this summer? Join us at Charlton House & Gardens for a series of hands-on family craft sessions in the stunning historic rooms of the house! 🏰

🧒 Children can explore their creativity, moving freely between themed activities and making their very own masterpieces – all in the beautiful Dutch Room, Grand Salon, and White Room.

📣 Now Hiring: Full-Time Venue Sales Officer 🌟

Are you passionate about people, events, and turning great spaces into unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for someone just like you!

Responsibilities will include:

🌟Assist with setting up event spaces including tables, chairs, and linens. Also responsible for ensuring the setup is correct and meets event requirements.
🌟Uphold health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
🌟Act as the main point of contact on the day of the event, checking in with suppliers and ensuring they have everything they need to deliver their part of the event smoothly.

Rainforest Wonders at Charlton House! 🌺

Head2Head Sensory Theatre return for a magical day of inclusive family fun in our beautiful Old Library – and this time, we’re heading deep into the rainforest!

Journey into the wild and uncover the secrets of tropical flowers with curious powers. Discover how to dodge a strangler fig and find out what you can really do with a ficus elastica!

Children will embark on an interactive sensory adventure through lush jungle trails, mysterious plants, and exotic sounds. It’s a vibrant experience designed especially for children, including those with SEND.

Our brand new quiet/sensory room will be open in another part of the house for anyone who needs a calm moment.

Join us at Charlton House & Gardens for a fun-filled series of family craft sessions during the summer holidays. Taking place in the beautiful and historic surroundings of the house, each session offers children the chance to get hands-on with themed arts and crafts.

£5 per child (includes small Eventbrite ticketing fee) drop-in between the times below.
10am – 12pm or 2pm – 4pm

We also regularly host SEND-friendly events designed to be engaging, interactive, and welcoming for all families — because every child deserves to explore, learn, and have fun in a way that suits them best.
