3 THINGS COUPLES OFTEN FORGET IN THEIR WEDDING BUDGET - When planning a wedding, it's easy to focus on the larger investments such as the venue, catering and florals. However, some of the smaller details can quickly add up if they're not considered from the outset.

Supplier Meals - Many suppliers working long hours on your wedding day, including photographers, videographers and planners, will require a meal. It's a detail that's often overlooked but should be included in your catering numbers from the beginning.

Transport - From travel between preparation locations to guest transfers and late-night journeys back to hotels, transportation costs can increase quickly. Considering logistics early can help avoid unexpected expenses later on.

Stationery & Postage Extras - Whilst invitations are usually budgeted for, additional items such as RSVP cards, menus, place cards, table plans, welcome signs and postage can often exceed initial expectations, particularly for larger guest lists.

The good news? With thoughtful planning and the right guidance, these costs don't have to come as a surprise.

THINGS MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT BEING A WEDDING PLANNER...
I spend far more time solving problems than styling tables.

I can usually spot issues before anyone else notices them.

I've become an expert at staying calm under pressure.

And my favourite part of every wedding day is still seeing my couple's faces moments before the ceremony.

It's a role that requires equal parts organisation, creativity and problem-solving, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
