It is our pleasure to introduce you to our new Group People and Talent Manager - Jamie Banton 💙👏
We've loved getting to know Jamie and her infectious energy over the last few months so it's only right we get to share a bit about her with you too!
🔵 How did you get into the HR sphere?
"My interest in HR spurred from when I was choosing my A-level subjects. Business was an area that I wanted to explore in greater detail during my studies, and I had a passion to support people in achieving their goals and aspirations, so HR was the perfect fit.
I started my career in retail in 2009, where I was a HR Coordinator. I was given the opportunity to go on a fast-track course to management, which then lead to me managing three separate HR departments. It was a great training ground for me to develop my skills in all areas within HR. "
🔵 & the big question - why event?
"Events is definitely an industry that intrigued me. I find it festinating to see the journey from the brief to the actual finished project/event. There are some very talented and creative minds that curate these multi-sensory experiences that captivate an audience."
🔵 Finally... why TBA Group?
"When I looked into the TBA Group, I fell in love with the content and it’s cool, and sophisticated vibe. I get really excited about when talking about all the amazing projects and events that TBA Group have achieved."
