Beyond proud to have led Sara and Chris’ wedding procession through the historic streets of the City of London. The route took us from the Mansion House to the wedding ceremony at St Lawrence Jewry, and then through the fabled Temple Bar gates to the reception at the Happenstance. The procession was formed of the legendary Pikemen and Musketeers, the Lady Mayor, Sheriffs, 60 Livery Company Masters, all in their robes, plus consorts. All this for the wedding of the Master Chartered Architect, Chris, and his consort, Sara, now his wife. What a memorable and historic day! .

I was proud to gown Lord Foster of Thames Bank as an Honorary Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects. This took place at our Summer Livery Dinner at Vintners Hall.

Off the subs bench today to cover for my good friend and colleague Peter Thompson at the Court and Founders Day Lunch of The Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers. Such a great time at this really prestigious location. But it was a hot day to be this dressed up!

With the Lady Mayor and Master Architect at today’s Spring Livery Lunch at the iconic Cutler’s Hall. It was one of the very few buildings in the City to survive the Blitz, along with St Paul’s Cathedral.
