Im so excited to share this post....a very kind and very talented father, of these two little Wizards- Dexter Hicks Photography came to the Spellbound session, camera in hand to capture his children's potion making.... he was so very kind to share his skills and images with us, so that people can get a real feel of the whole day....from holding noses at the sheep's stomach and help from Professor Pentacast with pouring the nightmare potion with your eyes closed!!! ..

They are really amazing images of the day and I'm so very thankful for the share....its rare that I get a moment to see it from others eyes.

Thank you to Mama on the moon for sharing these images of your daughters time at the Spellbound Academy Birthday party. Loving the studious shot of her solving the riddles and puzzles and poring the potions. These are great shots and I couldn't resist a bit of magic touch.

Calling all Witches and Wizards who like to call up the SPIRITS!! 'Spellbound Academy' is finally running an event for Adults! Why not come and learn how to jazz up your standard alcohol bottles, for a gift or display at your Halloween party.
You can even get the chance to have a quick snap taken with some of our gothic headdresses and accessories on the atmospheric background of the 14th Century Nurstead court Library.

Tickets are now on sale through Eventbrite for the latest ‘Spellbound Academy’ HALLOWEEN potion-making event. This will run on the 30th of October with two sessions, for 15 children each session. All set in the enchanted 14th Century Nurstead court library.

After the two children’s events, on the 30th, I will be running an adult craft session around 3pm- DIY potion bottle decoration- please see the next Eventbrite post for details.

Well it's been a long time coming but events are now starting up....so as well as organising a children's event at Halloween, I'm running a 'Potion Bottle Making' event for adults....I'm sure you've all got a huge collection after lockdown ! ....so why not create a gift for a special person or just enhance the look of your Halloween party by turning your standard bottles into something unique....there's also a photo opportunity with my collection of gothic headdresses....so VAMP it up on the day and wear black.

All set for tommorow ...I'm running a Year 6 Harry Potter potions day...cryptic clues all set to be deciphered and gross worm ridden creature tanks ...

My schools year 6 are having a Harry Potter day and I'm running a potion making /puzzle solving class ..so I've been back making and adding to my collection of creatures and potions so that the day can be a bit more gross than it usual is....the kids will have to suck the 'Cephalopod' fluid from its brain...and collect the slimmy eggs from the giant woodlice creature....
