The job nobody sees but everybody benefits from.
3 days. 15 pages. Here's exactly what I found buried in a catering contract this week:

The hidden charges:
→ Service charge: 12.5%
→ VAT on top of that service charge: 20%
→ Event facilitation fee: £450
→ Linen surcharge (not in the original quote): £8 per person
→ Cake cutting fee: £3.50 per slice
→ Storage fee pre-event: £200
That £85 per head quote became £127. For 150 guests, that's £6,300 your budget didn't account for.

Then there was the date.
Wrong. On a signed catering contract. A wrong date doesn't just mean a correction email — it means no confirmed booking, no wedding breakfast, and a potential disaster on the most important day of your life.
