A proponent of club hybridity at its’ most psychedelic and knotty, ophélie’s penchant for experimentation has seen them become an artist firmly in ascendence.
Percussive and textual in equal measure, their sets weave seismic low-end, dubbed-out atmospherics and diverse rhythms into a tapestry very much their own: as recent appearances at Openground, Draaimolen, and many more of Europe’s best clubs and festivals have shown. A close friend of Untitled909 and a long-time favourite of the Expert Death team, we just had to get them involved for our collaborative edition this September.

One month to go until we touch town at Ormside on September 11th. Still some tickets on the cheaper side up for grabs if you’re quick.

Tonight we return to Ormside Projects as we begin a new chapter of bi-monthly shindigs. We’ve got 35 tickets left online, and have kept a few back on the door for stragglers. Thank you to all who have supported!

We’ve also been putting together some limited run merch, including some weekender bags and double-sided ‘LCM’ tees which we’ll be giving away to the first few of you through the door tonight. Thank you to Alfie and Max for their help producing them.

There are very few artists who play club music like Shed. Active since the early 2000s, the Frankfurt (Oder) – via – Berlin artist has been turning out exceptional tunes and testing club subwoofers for nearly that entire time, traversing the spaces between various styles and rhythms in a way that no other has, or likely ever will. A true pioneer, who has more monikers than most will even be aware of, on 3rd July he plays his most intimate London DJ set in an age, as the techno icon makes his Ormside Projects debut for Expert Death.

5x group tickets left and 3x Early Birds still online at the time of writing. Grab yourself a cheap one while they’re still about, cos they won't be for much longer.

Last Friday released “Rave Echoes”, his first LP on and his first album since 2023’s ‘Towards East’. A masterpiece of ‘angular techno caught between the heat of peak time and the time-blurred hours after the club’, for most producers it’d be their magnum opus. For René Pawlowitz, it’s business as usual.

Ahead of his Ormside Projects debut and our first show back on 3rd July, we thought we’d revisit just a few of his best cuts to give you an idea of what you can expect in the club next month.
