People often think that wedding planning is all champagne and mood boards.

This week? There's a heatwave across the UK, a rare red-warning 🫠🥵 so it's me, my mum, my brother, two cats & a dog hiding from the sun as much as we can, making desperate attempts to stay cool in Wales...

[I'm also recovering from a cold/flu - great timing from my immune system again]

Todays jobs; updating spreadsheets, sending & responding to emails, and finalising elements for an upcoming wedding.

Also getting a bit of wear out of some my other solopreneur hats (web designer, copywriter, social media manager, va, graphic designer, accountant and hype woman amongst others), networking (virtually, I refuse to go out in these temps unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary), training, and doing some jobs for my incredible am dram group 😊

Right, it's time for another ice cold pint of squash for me and then get back to it.

It's another hot one today folks, so please make sure you stay hydrated and keep as cool as you can (temperature wise of course, you're all already cool AF personality wise!).

Happy 2nd anniversary to T&J (and a happy 30th to J for the other day - welcome to club30s)

Can't believe it's been two years since this amazing wedding day!

One groom who loves Lego, one who loves TFL, so I made sure we included both within the celebrations.

We also had their favourite songs put into playlists for each section of the day, and made the celebrations - from ceremony to the last guest leaving - accessible for all the neurospicy and visually impaired people involved within the love-filled day.

When you've been ghosting socials the last few months but now you're back!

As a lover of so many things considered 'childish' I had to jump on the mattel toy trend and look what chatGPT made me into 🫶

I may look like a chipmunk in the first one but I kind of love it.

They've got my flowers, my magic wand, my clipboards, my Disney ears, my daisy trousers and a lotr top.

Had a very special parcel arrived today 🥳 's debut book 'done is better than perfect' and a bag of treats which I pledged for via her Kickstarter.

Recorded a time lapse of me reading the book and, although it doesn't look like it from the video, I have been smiling and giggling at the anecdotes and Becca-isms.

I've only got to chapter 5 so far and there's sooo much knowledge and actionable tips throughout (wouldn't expect anything else from Becca tbh).

I've been listening to the musical theatre playlist whilst reading too so it's taken me a bit longer to read as I kept getting distracted by the epic song choices 🤣

For any fellow wedding pro's this is definitely a must read, if you haven't bought it yet it's available on Becca's website and Amazon.

Now I'm going back to read the rest ☺️
