This week, I attended CHS Manchester where I think I may have networked a little too hard 🤭 because I left with an exclusive 5-star invitation from the Cluster Sales Director of MHL to be flown out to MPI Insights Ireland as a fully hosted guest! ✈️

I’m finally entering the stage I’ve worked so hard for.
I get to speak about the incredible events I plan across both the corporate and private events world, build relationships with some amazing event professionals and watch that hard work take me further and further in this industry… all as a solo planner 🙏🏾

I’M CLAIMING Q4!
2026 has been a LESSON 😮‍💨

I’ve had to learn (the hard way) how to give myself grace as a business owner, Event Planner and mummy of 2.

Yet somehow, my version of “taking it easy” was still 20 clients in 9 months + 8 hosted networking trips 😅

Allow me talk my talk because I’ve still done my big one at what felt like my lowest 💁🏽‍♀️

Shola Events has taken me through Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Derby, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, London, Gloucestershire & the Cotswolds… and now we’re crossing borders ✈️

🇲🇦 Morocco - done
🇺🇸 Vegas - coming up
🇿🇦 South Africa - 2027
🇮🇹 Italy - 2027
🇮🇪 Cork - maybe? 👀

UK wide was one thing. Now I’m going GLOBAL baby 🌍

Sometimes I look at my business and think… wow. I actually built this 🥹

First and foremost, all thanks and praises to God because He has carried me 🙏🏾

Behind all of this, there have been days I’ve felt alone, worried about the roof over my head, the car on my drive and how I’m going to make everything work. Sometimes I’m literally trying to get through the next MINUTE in my mind.

But I haven’t given up.

That is my biggest flex of 2026 💥
Look what’s happened WHILE I’ve been figuring it out. Imagine what happens when I turn it up.

That’s why I’m claiming Q4.

It’s not just about me growing. I want to pour back into the industry that’s made so much of this possible too 💖

1. We literally risked our lives stopping traffic for you on one of Birmingham’s busiest roads 😳

2. I made sure you were sitting pretty in your wedding car and looking cute every step of your wedding day

3. I got you and wedding party down the aisle so you can marry the love of your life

5. I made sure your wedding entrance was absolutely full of good vibes and energy!

6. I booked you the best wedding suppliers, your whole wedding breakfast was jumping!

7. I got the DJ to play your favourite song so you could perform it (even when you forgot about it 🥹)
