Two hearts. One vow. Forever to go.
When she walked toward him, something sacred settled in the air. And when they stood together — bride and groom, now husband and wife — there was peace. There was power. There was purpose.
Everything we’d dreamt of, planned, and prayed for was now a living moment. And I couldn’t be prouder — not only as their planner, but as family.
A Ghanaian bride. An Ivorian groom. A Sicilian backdrop. A love story that crossed borders and came home.

The moment she stood in her gown, everything and everyone paused.
All the planning, dreaming, fittings, vision boards — it all led to this. And it was worth every detail.
As her planner, I was relieved to see her in all her beauty and all in place about to take the most unique catwalk of her life ❤️
As her sister and maid of honour… I was undone.
This was no longer “the bride” — this was my sister, wrapped in grace, walking in legacy, and ready to say yes to forever.💃🏾💃🏾

This wasn’t just a suit — it was a statement. A quiet declaration of love, responsibility, and lifelong commitment.

There’s something sacred about this moment.
Before the aisle, before the gown… there’s the quiet. The butterflies. The deep breaths. The final touches.
I wore two hats this morning: planner, and maid of honour — and my heart was full.
Watching my sister transform into a bride was surreal. Her calm. Her grace. Her glow. There was no rush — just reverence.
This makeup 💄 by and the curls 💇🏾‍♀️ by turn the tale into reality 🤩 the DREAM TEAM ✨✨. This was legacy walking toward love ❤️ .

In many Ghanaian traditions, the journey to marriage begins not at the altar, but with the family. It is here that the groom must arrive — bearing gifts, intentions, and humility — to ask for a “flower” 🌺he has seen and wants to keep forever.

But tradition is playful and wise.

The bride is hidden.
Her family tests him.
Is he sure which flower he came for?

Only when he confidently speaks her full name and she gives her joyful consent — three times, no less — can the union be blessed.

This is more than ceremony.
It’s culture, commitment, and community.
And it’s how Sara & Cedric began this journey. 💛💚

As her planner, I was watching the clock.

One year ago today — I was preparing for the most personal project I’ve ever taken on:
planning my sister’s wedding 💐 and my now bro in law
I was the planner. The maid of honour. The emotional anchor.
From international vendor arrivals ✈️ to last-minute errands, timelines, nails, and holding it all together — this was Day 1 of a week I’ll never forget.
