It's Timeless Tuesday and today we bring you Shenmue!

Shenmue is a 1999 action-adventure game developed and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. It follows the teenage martial artist Ryo Hazuki as he sets out in revenge for the murder of his father in 1980s Yokosuka, Japan. The player explores an open world, fighting opponents in brawler battles and encountering quick time events. The environmental detail was considered unprecedented, with numerous interactive objects, a day-and-night system, variable weather effects, non-player characters with daily schedules and various minigames.

After developing several successful Sega arcade games, including Hang-On (1985), Out Run (1986) and Virtua Fighter (1993), director Yu Suzuki wanted to create a longer experience, and conceived Shenmue as a multi-part epic. In 1996, Sega AM2 began work on a role-playing game for the Sega Saturn set in the Virtua Fighter world. Development moved to the Dreamcast in 1997 and the Virtua Fighter connection was dropped. Shenmue became the most expensive video game ever developed at the time, with an estimated production and marketing cost of $47–70 million, though this also covered some of Shenmue II (2001).

Despite sales of 1.2 million, Shenmue did not recoup its development cost and was a commercial failure. It received positive reviews for its graphics, soundtrack and ambition, though its slow pace and emphasis on mundane detail divided players. It attracted a cult following, appeared in several lists of the greatest video games of all time, and is credited for pioneering game mechanics such as quick time events and open worlds. Later appraisal has been mixed, with criticism for its controls, pace and voice acting.

It's Show And Tell Sunday, and today we bring you The Jetsons!

The Jetsons is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It originally aired in prime time from September 23, 1962, to March 17, 1963, on ABC, then later aired in reruns via syndication, with new episodes produced from 1985 to 1987. It was Hanna-Barbera's Space Age counterpart to The Flintstones.

While the Flintstones lived in a world which was a comical version of the Stone Age, with machines powered by birds and dinosaurs, the Jetsons live in a comical version of a century in the future, with elaborate robotic contraptions, aliens, holograms, and whimsical inventions.

The original had 24 episodes and aired on Sunday nights on ABC beginning on September 23, 1962, with prime time reruns continuing through September 22, 1963. It debuted as the first program broadcast in color on ABC, back in the early 1960s when only a handful of ABC stations were capable of broadcasting in color. In contrast, The Flintstones, while always produced in color, was broadcast in black-and-white for its first two seasons.

It's Timeless Tuesday and today we bring you the PS1 classic Wipeout!

Developed and published by Psygnosis and released in 1995 as one of the PlayStation's European launch titles, Wipeout was a futuristic racing game.

Set in 2052, players compete in the F3600 anti-gravity racing league, piloting one of a selection of craft in races on several tracks around the world. Unique at the time, Wipeout was noted for its futuristic setting, weapons designed to both stall and destroy enemy opponents and its marketing campaign designed by Keith Hopwood and The Designers Republic.

The game features original music from CoLD SToRAGE, with tracks by Leftfield, The Chemical Brothers and Orbital appearing on some versions. The game was critically acclaimed on release; critics praised the game for its originality and its vast "unique techno soundtrack". However, it was criticised for its in-game physics. The franchise went on to spawn several sequels to critical acclaim before the Psygnosis, now named Studio Liverpool, were forced to close down in 2012.

It's Show And Tell Sunday, and on this fine afternoon we bring you Thundercats!!!

Created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf in 1985, the Thundercats are a group of catlike humanoid aliens who originally featured in their self titled animes series which ran from 1985-1989.

Like its predecessor Masters of the Universe, the ThunderCats franchise simultaneously launched as a line of action figures produced by LJN and a syndicated after-school weekday cartoon. The original ThunderCats show was animated in Japan while being produced, written and voice acted in the United States.

There have been 2 attempts to revive the show, a 2011 incarnation and a 2018 version called Thundercats Roar, but both were cancelled after a single season. In 2021, Warner Bros announced their intentions to produce a live action film adaptation.

It's Supervillain Saturday! In the spotlight today is Marvel's Asgardian goddess of death, Hela!

Based on the goddess Hel from Norse mythology, Hela was first adapted by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby on Journey into Mystery 102 in March 1964.

Born in Jotenheim, Hela is the daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboda. Once she came of age, Odin appointed her as Goddess of the Dead, making her ruler of Hel and Niflheim.

In the MCU Hela is portrayed by Cate Blanchett in Thor Ragnarok, where she is the daughter of Odin rather than Loki and the older sister of both Thor and Loki. Additionally she is also revealed as the first Asgardian to wield Mjolnir and is shown to be a fierce combatant who had scared even Odin with her warmongering ways.
