🚨 UPDATE 🚨
🤓 Recap: is the platform to find new , through social events. We do that by generating a tailored-made for you: a community of users near you, around your age group & with similar interests.
🔝We launched Amiko’s beta version a few weeks ago, and it has shown that we can build , meet new fantastic people in real life, and have fun even in the post-covid world 🙂
🔜 Starting this Sunday, the beta will enter its second and final phase. Based on the feedback and observations gathered in the last few weeks, for the whole month of June, we will test out several new features - brace yourself:
1️⃣ Creating a local community around you: instead of organizing just events, we figured that it could be easier to build new relationships if users were put into cohorts of people from similar age groups, with similar interests, and living around them. In the future, these groups - which we call Tribes - will be very local at the neighborhood level, but for the sake of the Beta test, we will keep all of you in a bigger, London cohort 🙂
2️⃣ Free events, with a small membership fee (post-beta ;): to facilitate participation in multiple events, we will provide our Tribes with a consistent flow of free events organized by our super users - aka organizers. Thanks to the contribution of a small monthly membership fee, organizers will have a budget to prepare events, book things, and pay for their time! For the beta only, we will not levy any membership fee - as such, some of the events might not be free yet 🙂
3️⃣ A new platform to meet your tribe! And yes, as we like to sleep little and work a lot, we have prepped a new test platform for you to book events and get to know your community better. Even if fully branded Amiko, the app is hosted by a very cool software - when we raise money, we will indeed develop our own software!
