The Glass Menagerie - The Yard Theatre

Show 14 of 2025 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Glass Menagerie is my favourite Tennessee Williams and I loved this production!!! There were a few things I liked and a few things that left me down. Good production, I chose some seats on stage thinking I was “immersed” on stage but the seats were on the side back so I couldn’t see that much. No offence but I think the female actresses performed better than the boys! 😁😁😁 Last thing…please let me know if I’m wrong…this is the second production where Laura Wingfield imagine herself dancing like “Dirty Dancing” before actually dancing….Does this happen in the playtext? (Promise I’ll read the playtext in two weeks 😁😁😁). Not unmissable but a good production!!! PS loved the Yard Theatre!!!

Manhunt - Royal court Theatre

Show 12 of 2025 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I personally didn’t know the story about Raoul Moat, I mainly went to see the show for Robert Icke as I’m a huge fan of his work. I don’t want to make any personal judgment on this story, in the first part of the show I actually believed that Moat was unjustly accused but obviously I was wrong….
The show was a 3 stars for me because I really liked the “powerful” interpretation of Moat by Samuel Edward-Cook, there was some weak acting by other actors but I can close one eye on it as it was one of the first nights preview (it’s the second time that happened to me but someone backstage helped an actor with her lines as she forgot her speech…). I had a feeling that the show formed by many pieces attached to each other, I mean….the part where he is violent to his family, the story of the blinded police officer, the six hour standoff with the police. I think it wasn’t flawlessly directed but I also loved the ideas. For example the 13 minutes darkness

Lavender, Hyacinth, Violet, Yew - Bush Theatre

Show 11 of 2024 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had mixed feelings about this play, as I previously said, many good things that I liked but I also think that this production wasn’t flawless. First of all I have a soft spot for Omari Douglas and I loved him in this production as I did in the previous plays I’ve seen…I loved one specific topic that the play wanted to discuss…and please let me know what do you think about it, is the new LGBTQ+ generation connected to the previous generation so it’s their history too or it’s not their history as the past is part of a different generation and therefore part of different people and experiences. My dilemma is this…every generation have their own history or being part of the same community is also their story too…

This is not a theatre show and I’m not counting it as such but I have to mention it in my posts…the picture cannot represent the greatness of this guy…Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Orchestra!!! As a friend told me…he is not recognise as the greatest trumpet player ever only because he is not dead yet!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Knocking on wood I’m looking forward to seeing him again on stage!!!

Unicorn - Garrick Theatre

Show 10 of 2025 - ⭐️⭐️

Sorry guys but this time I have to be a bit harsh. The play was just a story of a couple married for a few years that desire to have a th*****me…after a bit of resistance from the male part the th*****me happens and they get along together in a polyamorous relationship…that’s it….
On the contrary I really loved the acting of all the actors, especially Erin Doherty…Stephen Mangan, i felt like he was there to ease the play with a few jokes as the play was perhaps quite sexually straightforward. Nicola Walker, I think she overacted a bit but I’ve been told it’s her style. As I previously thought and confirmed by the patrons waiting at the stage door…lots of people came to the theatre to see a possible sequel of “The Split” a loved show by many with Mandan and Walker casted in the series. Last thing…last 15 minutes could have been easily cut… what do you think guys?

Much Ado About Nothing - Drury Lane Theatre

Show 9 of 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m still thinking to rate this show 3 stars but let’s go for 4 and I’ll explain it why in a minute.
Unfortunately this production was my first Much Ado so I can’t compare it with other previous shows. I think that the show was shortened a lot, that some important parts were missing. I’m happy that Lloyds went pink and extremely joyous but there were quite a few cringy moments…Hiddleston’s abs…the Loki-Agent Carter cartoons but also a bit the big animal masks. I still rather give 4 stars because I think that the show was saved by a few actor performances, especially by Hiddleston and Atwell. And perhaps looking back at previous Lloyd’s productions…well this time the main characters had experiences in theatre…I think they made the difference… As I’m a very big fan of Jamie Lloyd I’m longing what will come next PS just forgot to mention… Mason Alexander Park… amazing as usual!!!

I met at the Stage Door of The Brightening Air and she actually recognised me (I loved her in “Machinal” so I follow her since then 😁😁😁). I didn’t expect to be recognised so I literally melted! 🤣🤣🤣 Go to see her on stage because she is an amazing actress!!! (I’m very fussy with theatre so trust me…)
