Artist Open Call – Organ Donation Artworks Commission
rb&hArts invites artists to propose two new artworks exploring organ donation, transplantation, hope, generosity and the gift of life — one for Royal Brompton Hospital and one for Harefield Hospital.
We welcome proposals for sculpture, wall-based and mixed-media works suitable for healthcare environments.
We are particularly interested in artists with experience in participatory practice, co-creation, public art, healthcare or socially engaged approaches. The selected artist will work with patients, donor families, transplant recipients, staff and other stakeholders.
Budget: £9,000 inclusive of VAT, covering research, engagement, design, production and installation.
Deadline: Sunday 27 September 2026, midnight
Interviews: Week commencing 5 October 2026
