The Mechanics Shop - an ENTER Takeover
Calling all theatre-makers, storytellers and artists.
We, and hopefully you, will be taking over ENTER on the 29th of October. Every room will be filled with anything and everything playable! Inviting audiences to roam a range of interactions and experiences.
We are bored of the big IP based experiences and want to explore the weird and wonderful mechanics of interaction and play with a host of makers, designers and artists.
Developing ideas on a workshop day, and then honing them in the weeks between (with free space and support at the ENTER Building), to the takeover on the 29th of October. Jumping between short experiences and reflecting on those interactions.
Bringing your own ideas is encouraged, as are your thoughts on others ideas.
We want to cross-pollinate and collaborate with a wide range of artists through the takeover of a whole building.
The sharing on the 29th will be a ticketed event, with timed arrivals and a bar area for audiences to gather before, during and after.

Free space to develop any ideas between these dates
Space for 20 artists from any background/discipline keen to make playable experiences.
Split of the Box Office for all that perform/develop the work.
Expenses covered for the development of ideas. (Agreed in advance)
