So, Blue flowers are a common ask with Brides every year and every year... I tell them that it is near on impossible to source naturally blue flowers because the corn flowers, delphiniums and agapanthis often referred to as being blue are actually varying degrees of purple and lilac as opposed to blue.
If a Bride is particularly set on having blue flowers, I then suggest using artificials as died blue naturals can also be hit and miss.
The next dilemma then starts with me having to spend hours pouring over online catalogues looking for that right shade of blue and keeping my fingers crossed that the online images equate to what actually arrives in the post. And sometimes... it all comes together like yesterday when I created the following Bridal Bouquet, Boutonnieres and Wrist Corsages for a wedding next weekend.
The Bride was thrilled and I heaved a sigh of relief. Phew!
