Matisse Online Painting with Scissors
is best known for both his delightfully fluid drawing style and exquisite use of color, particularly in his simplistic cutout works. In both sessions, you will be engaged in mimicking Matisse’s expressive and restlessly experimental way of working to inspire you in your own creative endeavors
This is one of two online drawing classes where tutor Frances Stanfield will guide you through Matisse's playful approach to art-making. This second session adopts Matisse's use of scissors as an image-making tool and the first is Drawing with Sticks.
In this class, we will be making our cut-outs from a series of images that Frances will be presenting to you and from still life.
This class is suitable for All levels.
