Sharing plates, sharing wine, sharing stories
Some restaurants feel being invited into someone’s dining room. From the moment you walk in there’s a warm, relaxed buzz - the kind that makes you want to settle in, pour a glass of wine and stay a while. The menu is built around sharing plates, which only adds to that feeling. Dishes arrive in the middle of the table, everyone leaning in, passing plates around and inevitably saying, “you have to try this.”
The food is thoughtful but unfussy, letting great ingredients speak for themselves, and the wine list is clearly a big part of the experience, interesting bottles that seem to encourage one more glass and one more story. It’s lively, intimate and effortlessly charming, the sort of place where time unfolds naturally.
Exactly what a great meal out should feel like. 🍽️🍷
