Relax and reset 🌿🧖🏻‍♀️

Finally got to visit this beautiful spa in Essex, set in the most stunning gardens, for a spa day.

The day started with a Dry Wave Massage on a warm water bed made the most of the facilities, walked around and found a spot for a read in the beautiful gardens and ended with the type of facial that has you so relaxed you accidentally fall asleep and start snoring. Loudly. 😅 Honestly, if you’re not snoring mid-treatment, are you even relaxed?

Lunch was also absolutely delicious, even though I had to find a way to protect my Pimms from a wasp or two (see the last photo)!

The hotel rooms look lovely and I would recommend a garden room that leads out to the gorgeous grounds. I wished we had stayed the night to be honest!

If you’re after a proper reset, this place is a little slice of serenity and really good value 🌿

The terrace is now open at is everything – elegant, serene, and perfect for a long, lazy lunch date.

Think fine Indian flavours, golden-hour vibes, and that feeling like you’ve just stepped into a summer escape… right in the heart of Mayfair 💛

This is also a great spot for a private gathering as you can hire the whole area.

Sunny spring strolls, good food, and a cheeky Pimm’s? Saturdays are made of these ☀️ 🍹 🍽️

We started with a lovely walk through Epping Forest and ended with the most gorgeous lunch at The Royal Forest Pub — talk about ticking all the date day boxes!

With stylish decor, a sun-drenched terrace, and a yummy spring menu, this place has just the right mix of charm and polish.And if you’re not ready to leave? Stay the night in one of their lovely rooms and wake up to miles of forest walks on your doorstep.

🤡 🎟️ Fun at the fair: 🤡 🎟️

If you’re after a date that’s all about fun, laughter, and a little healthy competition—Fairgame in Canary Wharf is a winner. Think fairground vibes meets adult-only playground, complete with retro games, quirky cocktails, and a buzzing atmosphere.

We battled it out over skee-ball, whacked a few moles, and may have taken the duck shoot a little too seriously. The games are short and sweet, which keeps the energy and the stakes high!

Cocktails were delicious and playful and there’s a great mix of street food stalls to refuel between rounds.

They also have a huge, fun outdoor area quayside with mini games that would be brilliant with a bunch of friends in the summer.
