This September, Shedding Histories make a much anticipated return to the Thanet coast for a summer send-off under the glittering MARGATE ARTS CLUB disco ball. They’ve teamed up with local party-starters bis.bis.bis.margate for a night of deep, dynamic selections, full of psychedelic and soulful curveballs from across the musical spectrum 🪩

Fresh off successful dates across Lithuania together, this double bill promises hours of musical synergy, as well as plenty of dancefloor silliness on Arts Club’s sensational soundsystem. From jazz stompers to dub skankers, bollywood soundtracks to salsa sizzlers, these four selectors are sure to concoct a night of dancing with a penchant for flowing into the unexpected.

It’s our absolute pleasure to be welcoming a true pro behind the decks to our party this Saturday at … the brilliant groove master 🌝

A seasoned tastemaker, Ksaiba hosts the monthly show Rhythm Connection with Dan Beaumont on NTS Radio.

Her DJ style, meanwhile, flies in the face of what she calls “emotionless, seamless Beatport bangers”, instead spanning a nuanced mix of disco, boogie, proto-house, techno, Italo, minimal wave post-punk, acid and party jams that pump the heart of electronic music. Whether she’s playing Panorama Bar, soundtracking the pole-dancing at east London drag party Savage or covering Optimo for one of their famed Sunday-nighters at Glasgow’s Sub Club, there are few dancefloors that Ksaiba can’t make jack.

IMPORTANT VENUE CHANGE UPDATE:

Sadly due to circumstances outside of our control, Cellar will no longer be able to host us next Friday…BUT… fear not because we are moving a just few doors up the road to the legendary Earth Hackney… surely one of the most iconic venues in London!

We’ll be taking over the Earth Kitchen from 10:30 to 3:30am and we can’t wait for to take on the headline duties 🌕

Tickets remain in the same spot on RA but also are now on Dice too! We only have a few early birds left so get in their quick 🌝

Shedding Histories meets Private Funktion brings a party built on the commitment to an open dance-floor featuring always diverse sounds from across the spectrum with references to funk, boogie, disco, jazz, house, electro and maybe even much much moreee 🚀

Penktadienį vyksiančios šventės pratęsimas šokių aikštelėje su “Bis! Bis!Bis!” kolektyvu ir Cheh!

🟢 Bena ir Chameleonas savo renginiuose visada kuria ypatingą atmosferą - psichodelinę, atvirą ir nenuspėjamą.
