The blue skies today in London have me reminiscing on the glorious elopement shoot in Paarl, South Africa 🇿🇦

There’s something so powerful about stripping it all back…
just the two of you, your love, and a setting that feels like you.

This shoot was extra special, a full team who trusted my vision from London, without ever meeting me in person. But now, the connection will always remain.

Six years ago two things changed my life forever…

I became a mum for the first time.
And I stepped out in faith to start my business.

I didn’t realise then that both journeys would grow side by side. 🤍

My eldest just turned 6, the same age as Akilah & Co.

Looking back, I see how much God has carried me through every season… the long nights, the prayers, the lessons, and the moments where faith had to be stronger than fear.

Today I’m a mum of three beautiful children and I feel so grateful for the life God has blessed us with.

My prayer moving forward is simple:
More opportunities.
More purpose.
And the ability to keep giving back as God continues to guide my path.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums out there.

And to the women who are trying, waiting, grieving, or unable to conceive, your strength and your story matter deeply. You inspire more people than you realise. 🤍

Motherhood looks different for everyone, but love sits at the heart of it all.

Grateful for this journey.

Planning a wedding from abroad sounds fun… until it isn’t 😅

Alisa was planning her wedding from another country and very quickly realised how many little things there are that no one warns you about.

Admin. Vendors. Styling decisions you didn’t even know were decisions.

She didn’t want to spend her time organising people or sourcing napkins (still one of my favourite lines ever 😂). She wanted to focus on how the day would feel and look — something beautiful, personal, and very THEM.

So that’s what we did together.

We talked things through. We tweaked ideas. We pushed things a little when it felt right. We made sure everything made sense and actually worked on the day.

On the wedding day she was busy having the best time, which is always the goal. And afterwards? Guests kept talking about how good it all looked, her DJ told her it was the most organised wedding he’d ever worked on, and her Grandad (nearly 90 🥹) said it was one of the best days of his life.

That’s the kind of stuff that reminds me why I love this job.

If you’re planning a wedding and feeling like you should be able to handle it all… but don’t really want to, you’re not alone 🤍
