One of the things we love most about Two Temple Place is our little corner of London.

We’re tucked away on a quiet corner of Temple, right opposite the Thames. And although we’re moments from the City and the buzz of central London, there’s something wonderfully peaceful about our location and the nearby gardens at Middle Temple, exploring the side streets or walking across the street to stroll by the river.

It really does feel like a hidden gem, a little pocket of calm, history and beauty in the middle of London.

The perfect wedding day timeline.

This beautiful autumn wedding from last year had the timing just right - a little bit of summer, the first hint of autumn and a day that flowed effortlessly from one part to the next.

From an afternoon ceremony to a late-night party, we love how naturally the day unfolds.

A little TLC for one of Two Temple Place’s most beautiful features!

During our August refresh, we began the careful process of cleaning the stained-glass above the grand staircase.

Dating back to the completion of Two Temple Place in 1895, the glass is crowned with the date itself, a little detail that connects the building we see today with its beginnings.

Each panel has to be carefully removed from the structure before being cleaned, so this certainly isn’t a job for the faint-hearted!

Even covered in dust, we think they’re looking pretty spectacular… we can’t wait to see the finished result and welcome them back to the staircase!

Have you ever noticed that Shakespeare is carved into the fabric of Two Temple Place.
Featuring plays and characters including Henry VIII, Macbeth, Cleopatra and Ophello, our historic friezes inspired this year’s Midsummer Evening, with A Midsummer Night’s Dream providing the perfect theme to bring the evening to life!

Take a deep breath - we’re almost at the end of January!

We recently hosted a wellness morning at Two Temple Place, beginning with movement and breathwork led by the wonderful It was a reminder that in the fast pace of events, taking time to pause is just as important.

This feeling closely aligns with our upcoming exhibition, The Weight of Being, opening Saturday 24th January. The exhibition explores how external pressures shape artistic expression - highlighting the power of art as a means of reflection, resistance, and survival.
