🎊!Top Tips! 🎊 What is the most popular game at kids parties?

Musical statues! Here are some top tips to make it even more fun and special.

🧚‍♀️ Choose fun upbeat music, think about their favourite tunes, if in doubt, play “I like to move it”, it’ll get them dancing every time!
🧚‍♀️ Be super clear with your instructions! Before the game starts, explain the rules to the kids. We want to see the best silly dance moves, and then freeze like a statue when the music stops.
🧚‍♀️ Always repeat instructions, especially for the younger kids! And keep it silly! Try to make them giggle when they freeze. Remember the aim is not to stay still, it’s to have fun!

Unsure whether your child is too young to have a party? Here are some of our top tips!

🤩 If your child is younger than 2, and you have a few friends with children of the same age, there are companies that offer baby sensory play. They’re often 30-45 mins packages!
🤩 If your child is older than 2, they can absolutely have a party with us! We offer tiny tots parties for 2-3 year olds. These parties are different from the ones we host for 5 year olds!
🤩 We have sensory activities that they love, lots of nursery rhymes dancing, and we recommend our 1h package, which gives us plenty of time to play a variety of fun games!

How to involve shy kids at birthday parties?

👼Before the party starts, read the room, and get a sense of what your group of kids are like. If most of them are younger than 5, start with a calmer introduction. Ask them all to gather around and sit down. You can invite the parents to sit down too!
👼Tips for parents - it’s okay if your child wants to stand back and watch the fun, before joining in. Give them space to feel comfortable. Most times, they’ll jump in when they feel ready! Blow bubbles in their direction, praise them for their amazing dance moves and give them prizes too!
👼Some kids prefer high energy games, shy kids might prefer quieter or calmer games. Even if some of the shyer kids are sitting down on the side, don’t ignore them, let them feel included. This way, they know they can join in whenever!

How long should I book an entertainer for?

🎊Depending on the age of the kids attending, if you have 2-3 year olds, 1h or 1h30 of entertainment is more than enough! The entertainer will have plenty of time to play a variety of games. And maybe even do a few balloon models!
🎊Anything from 4 years old up to 10/11, you can have a 2 hour party. This is our most popular package. The entertainer has time to do either glitter tattoos or balloon models which happens when the kids are having their food break!
🎊The entertainer also has time to organize the cake moment, sing happy birthday and take group photos. This is nice when organised by a professional entertainer!
