So this is some sad news I must say!!

We have truly loved the last 2 years of these nights and creating something so special for independent artists and supporting so many incredible charities. It wasn’t an easy decision to put these nights on pause but as we all venture our lives into different directions something had to give.

Who knows what could happen in a year or twos time but for now, we step off stage (sorry that was cheesy) and thank you all for every inch of your support!! Please keep supporting independent artist, events, radio shows and venues and give as much as you can when you can to charities you know that are working to make so many people’s lives better.

Every single artist that comes along, we adore!! It’s so lush hearing their music and this was no exception because honestly, what a beautiful lineup from our birthday!!

To have , , , perform was iconic and I also got to sing along with absolutely bops all evening too ✨✨

Burnt toast’s 2nd BIRTHDAY was literally so iconic and so chaotic to say the least but it truly was one of the most beautiful evenings and we raised £100 for the amazing we hope this can help to support all the amazing work they do and help support our fellow trans folk!!!!!!!

It was so incredible to have such a beautiful lineup too and really just create a very safe and q***r space for everyone 🥺

Thank you for treating us to the most beautiful music, all such faves in one place (yes I did fangirl) 💖💖

And thank you for having us, we will see you very sooon👀

Get to know the wonderful Órla Bligh! We are so lucky to have such a fantastic artist for our 2nd birthday, celebrating our wonderful q***r community. Órla's words are truly inspiring and absoloutely what we want to stand for and create at Burnt Toast "when the media is silencing the unheard, it's our job to stand up for them". Thank you Órla🎉

The final artist is of course the wonderful and we couldn’t be more honoured to have her, it’s going to be empowering and uplifting 💖

From beginnings as a promoter in the q***r arts scene, Órla is stepping out as a solo artist writing songs about healing, transformation, and the message that we all have the power to reinvent ourselves and become who we were meant to be. Her first single Towers speaks of the hardship many face with trying to fit into a world not built for them; this has been followed up by subsequent releases Get Free, a powerful soul anthem for owning your truth, and spiritual ballad Show Me The Way about finding your way through the darkness.

Through honest songwriting Órla hopes to provide hope for anyone who has fallen on hard times and to be an example that despite the world’s demise and our grief for it we have the power to be the light in our lives and shine authentically.

So excited to share the next act in our lineup for Tues 22nd July (our second birthday) - !! ✨

AFBOB blend the best of Indie, Folk, Latin and neo-acoustic to create a captivating and unforgettable experience. With roots in Wales, they infuse their music with a unique blend of textural acoustics, percussion, and reflective storytelling to create a soundscape that transports you to ‘hiraeth’ - a deep sense of longing.

At the heart of AFBOB's music are honest and vulnerable lyrics, telling reflective stories that will stay with you long after the music stops. With 11 years of performing experience under their belt, AFBOB entered a new chapter with their live EP 'All I Had To Give', which earned them 19,000+ Spotify streams, a spot as a finalist in Andrson's International Songwriting Competition in Dublin, Festival slots at Blue Lagoon, Big Love, Devauden, sold out shows in Cardiff and Bristol, as well as spotlighted artists on Trackd.
