The Brewery is a truly historic, Grade II listed venue occupying the buildings of Whitbread's 18th Century beer-making empire in the City of London. Last week, our team grabbed paint rollers, gardening tools and clothes they didn’t mind getting a little messy to lend a hand to our charity partner, .

We spent the day at Anchor and Hope Lane in Charlton, part of the Greenwich Young People’s Pathway, which provides independent living and support for care leavers and young people who are at risk of homelessness.

Tasks for the day included giving the key work room a bright lick of paint, as well as tidying and refreshing the garden with new plants and outdoor furniture for residents to enjoy.

A very worthwhile day away from The Brewery, and a big thank you to the Single Homeless Project team for having us.

AI DevCon '26 welcomed 650+ builders to The Brewery for two days focused on the future of AI-native software development. Practitioners from OpenAI, NVIDIA, Anthropic, GitHub, and more demonstrated agent observability, runtime intelligence, and prompt security models live on stage. Powered by unthrottled bandwidth, the sessions ran without a hitch while our infrastructure kept the broadcast feed stable for over 2,000 virtual attendees tuning in online.

‘Spectacular, Spectacular’ did exactly what it promised 🎪

The CoreNet Global UK Chapter Summer Party turned The Brewery into a circus, bringing together people from across the corporate real estate industry.

The evening was packed with non-stop entertainment – from magic on arrival and an aerialist spinning during dinner to awards handed out next to a big red cannon and an interactive game raising funds for Shelter, before a DJ closed out the night.

Well, that’s a rather nice hat trick 🤩

The Brewery has made the shortlist at this year’s London Venue & Catering Awards in every category we entered:
• Best Event Venue Under 750 Attendees
• Best In-House Caterer – Venue-Operated
• Best Seasonal Party Venue

Making the cut doesn’t happen by accident, it reflects the work our team puts in, event after event, all year round.

Now, we wait for the judges’ decision in November. Best of luck to all our fellow finalists.
