Celebrating 15 Years Of Ticket Tailor 🙌

This year Ticket Tailor turned 15!

We can’t quite believe how quickly time flies, a lot has changed in those 15 years.

Looking back it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come and how much has changed - what started out as a one man, bootstrapped project with Jonny, has turned into one of the biggest independent ticketing platforms used globally 🌏

We could talk about the millions of tickets sold or how far the platform has moved on but the past 15 years have seen a team of 1 become a team of 30 supported by family, friends, partners, charities and of course the Event Creators that use our platform.

Last Thursday we marked the occasion with all involved and took the chance to unwind, reflect and celebrate…and what an evening it was 🍾

A massive thank you to all of you that have been involved and all of those that came to celebrate.

We don’t have a crystal ball and wouldn’t want to predict what the next 15 years will bring but we’ll continue with our commitment to business as a force for good and hope that you’ll continue on this ride with us.

And it's a big one…

❓Okay but what is our Impact Report? ❓
In 2021 we adopted the mantra of Growth on Purpose: the more tickets we sell, the bigger the impact we can make. This year marks 15 years of Ticket Tailor - each year we grow purposefully, and help more Event Creators with our easy and affordable ticketing, and each year that gives us the opportunity to make more impact be it for our team, community, planet or customers.

This report highlights that impact.

🍃 Donated £179,967 to our climate charity partners
🌍 Supported over 1m events, in 190 countries
💰 Supported our Event Creators raising £6.2m through our donations feature
♻ Re-certified as a BCorp with a score of 123
💻 Launched SaaS as a force for good, inspiring the wider community

❓ Why are we sharing this? ❓
We became a B Corp back in 2022, and along with the rest of the community we share an impact report every year. We're extremely proud of the progress we've made but it's also how we remain transparent and accountable for the impact we're setting out to make.

Just as importantly, it inspires us and we want it to inspire others.

There's a whole section in the report highlighting where we've taken inspiration from, be it others that we shared the TV screen with during our TV debut in September, those we met at SaaStock, talks we've attended from the likes of Deborah Meaden or the incredible Hannah Cox running 100 marathons in a 100 days.

Our B Corp Month celebrations continue 🌍

Yesterday, organised by Emily, we ditched our normal weekly highlights session for a B Corp takeover.

What does it mean to be B Corp? If the team had forgotten, we were about to sharpen our memory.

From the 5 impact areas of B Corp to initiatives companies can take to enact them, we were quizzed hard…with a few sneaky trick questions.

Without doubt the blind tasting of our B Corp office snacks provided by the wonderful and was everybody’s favourite round.

Amongst the fun and games it was also a nice reminder that the option to choose B Corp in our everyday life is certainly possible!

Earlier this month we kicked off B Corp month and shared that we’d be supporting fellow B Corps with a fund to help facilitate events.

Well…here it is 👇

This March we’re offering £1000 sponsorship to B Corp events happening in the UK.

We’ve already supported a few brilliant events (including Purposefest in Bristol), and we’ve still got budget left to help more B Corps bring their communities together.

Celebrating all that it means to be part of this global community, we’ve got a lot coming for you.

Not least in a few weeks we’ll be releasing our 2025 Impact Report covering our environmental impact, social responsibility and much more.

We’ll also be sharing more details on how we’re supporting fellow B CORP community members, with our fund to help facilitate your events - news on that later this week.

And we’ll be rounding things off with some donation totals to our charity partners so far!
