Apothecary orders have been shipped 💌 I am so grateful for your orders and feel very excited for you to receive your Summer plant allies ☀️ 🌊 Blessed to be able to share all of this with you, truly 💕

Orders placed from today will not ship until beginning of August as I am going for a Summer break with family in the South of France {I’ll bring those with me too, trying to stay balanced in scorching 42C heat 🥵!!!}

I love this specific order from darling Emma Foster | women's circles & reiki, Hertford - really special, small batch and limited Summer blends of herbal infusions and the very popular rosehip face serum. Face and body oiling are a pure form of self-care, you feel it instantly! Not greasy either. And those rosehips - perfect for Summer and heart medicine ❤️

The serum is now sold out {it’s been so popular and I personally use it every night} but it will come back in autumn / early winter after fresh harvest 🌹

We celebrated my son’s 3rd trip around the sun last week! It fell on a Monday, which means he had cake for breakfast 🥰

He asked for strawberries, one of his favourites since he was little. So for the third time, I made him a fraisier. I love how this is becoming a tradition, a ritual. The yearly fraisier.

I add an element each year, making the cake more complex and evolved as he grows and evolves too. When he turned 1, it was just coconut yoghurt and strawberries. When he turned 2, I added a chocolate génoise layer - made with carrots and organic 85% chocolate 🍫. This year, I replaced the chocolate genoise with a lemon balm génoise sweetened by dates and added a hibiscus jelly layer made with agar agar and hibiscus flowers grown by his grand father in Hong Kong 🌺 Lemon balm + strawberry + hibiscus are a winning combo!

He absolutely LOVED it! What a treat to wake up to cake to celebrate his life, a cake that I know is nourishing his body as much as his heart.

I also made a bigger cake to share with friends - same lemon balm génoise but this time with a wild blueberry cream made with cacao butter and silken tofu, the texture and mouthfeel are just heaven! It was decorated by the sweet 8 year old Leila with flowers (all medicinal may I add…) from her garden - isn’t it just the most gorgeous looking cake?

Happy birthday gorgeous boy, may I be blessed to bake your birthday cakes every year and forever ❤️

{The fraisier is the cake that you can order for your little one’s celebrations - totally sugar free, gluten free and vegan. The génoise addition has some dates to sweeten and that’s it!! Orders will resume in September 2026 for Forest Row, East Grinstead area ❤️}

Tarte Aux Fraises with gluten-free almond sweet pastry, lemon verbena infused crème pâtissière and fresh strawberries 🍓

Ah, how I long for Summer tarts all year long, their crunchy pastry, the smooth cream and juicy sweet fruits.

During the transition I am in (in between houses for a few months, living in temporary places and my whole life packed in boxes), I have access to very limited equipment hence why I chose a traditional crème pâtisserie - which I hadn’t made in years. Making a tarte aux fraises is quite a simple process really but it takes a little practice and knowledge of ingredients to make the gluten-free crust, some elbow grease and some love to make the crème pâtissière. The strawberries, in contrast, just ask to be handled with love to shine.

I have many memories of my childhood involving strawberries and it’s a fruit that I get really excited to taste again each June. The body loves them too - they are loaded with vitamin C, and good amounts of manganese, folate, and fibre. Extra rich in antioxidant, they are super good for our cardiovascular health and we can see it in their heart shape ❤️ A fruit good for the heart, emotional and physical. A fruit to enjoy now to prepare our body to get ready for Summer and bring harmony to our heart , associated with the Summer season in TCM.

Happy strawberry tasting 🍓

One of my biggest motivations behind the herbal preparations I make and sell is to support womanhood through the blending of different plants and especially in infusions. We have the huge privilege of having a cycle, monthly and through life, going through different transformations over the years. It can feel to some as a burden because it’s so little talked about, embraced and there’s not enough education around it. So much taboo still. But I believe that it is a true gift which connects us even deeper to each other and the world around us.

This specific blend ~ The Wise Woman ~ is to celebrate and support the passage to menopause. A rite of passage which can come with unpleasant physical and emotional symptoms as the body goes through yet another rebirth.

I adore this blend, it is aromatic, it is grounding. The herbs work in harmony to soothe symptoms and to help embrace the journey. The sage and lavender are both homegrown - I sowed the sage from seed a few years ago while the lavender is an elder kin which was already growing on my allotment when I took it up.

For all my wise women here, I see you and respect you - may you embrace the change within you with grace 🦋

Easter 2026, with an Easter Nest cake grabbing everyone’s attention as cakes always do 🐣

Gluten-free sourdough chocolate & chestnut cake sweetened with dates, a tofu + blueberry icing bringing some freshness to this deliciously moist and fudgy delicacy. I dipped the chocolate eggs in a mix of raw cacao and ground turmeric, blueberry powder and ground mulberry leaf.

We also dyed some eggs with plants, which is becoming a beloved annual ritual.

I hope your Easter was as joyful, peaceful and filled with sunshine as ours was!

I had a vision to share my herbal remedies and open my shop in the Spring of 2025, in harmony with nature - as seedlings sprout out of the soil, my offerings would emerge from my mind and into the world. The experience that things don’t always go the way and the time we plan them is very humbling, as is the belief that things always turn out how they are supposed to. The dreams and the visions are important, as is the letting go of expectation of when and how they will materialise.

2025 has been a challenging year in many ways - there’s been heartache, losses, shedding but also expansion and beauty and wonder; you may have experienced this too? I feel very content and grateful to have been able to finish the year by birthing this beautiful offering of mine and share these remedies with you - bringing trust, beauty and courage into the future.

As we move towards the Winter solstice, now is time to rest, nourish and bring the energy inwards. With the last orders now shipped, I am taking a Winter break ❄️ All orders places now will be shipped 7th February 2026.

Sending you wishes for nourishment, courage and some sweetness. Get outside this weekend if you are able - our presence in nature is often the answer ✨

Thank you for your support, for commenting and sharing after my announcement last weekend. I am feeling so much gratitude to be making these herbal preparations to share with you 💚

They are handcrafted in ritual and are moving in rhythm with the seasons - picking blossoms and leaves in Spring and Summer; drying or infusing them in Summer and Autumn; bundling up packages in the Winter. I hand wrap every package, with attention to detail thinking of you as you open it 💖

I know the plants, I know where and when they grow, I visit them often and I listen to them. I grow some, and the connection starts with my hands in the soil and the sewing of the seed into the earth. I witness their blossoming each year with awe, I see them go into seed before letting go as Winter comes. My little one is always with me, and he too learns from them.

A bottle or jar may look beautiful but it is more than herbs blended together. It is infused by the memory of picking the leaves on a sunny morning, the daily ritual of shaking and infusing the remedy with love, the energy of the sun as it beamed through the jar of oil. And it will be made alive through the ritual you will start with it.

This seasonal drop includes herbal infusions, balms and tinctures - a line of herbal infusions dedicated to women, to support in all cycles of womenhood, including motherhood and menopause. There are balms to support the skin in the gentlest way and to help you drift into sleep. And there are tinctures to support emotional wellbeing, vitality and the immune system.

I hope you can feel the love, presence and attention in these herbal remedies. If you’re hoping to gift some of these, add a note when you order on the website and I will write a personalised message from you to them. Deep gratitude for your support, it is felt in so many ways and warms my heart.

The last shipping of the year will be Saturday 21st December.
