As Christmas approaches and my out-of-office is turned on, I would like to take a moment to reflect on a great year. In 2024, I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 in Event Production. After this, I made the decision to return to freelancing - now full time, instead of the sporadic odd jobs I’d do for close clients while at uni!

Throughout the year, I have had the privilege of working in some truly remarkable venues and collaborating with exceptional companies and clients. There are genuinely too many to name but I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you who have supported my journey as a relatively new freelancer.

Wishing you all a great Christmas and eagerly anticipating the opportunity to work with you once more in the coming year.

Pleased to have spent the last few weeks working with TikTok, helping operate live streams for various brands during Black Friday and the run up to Christmas.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience has been introducing brands to the possibilities of professional live stream setups. Many brands initially come in having produced their own live streams with a single phone—simple and effective, but sometimes limited in terms of production value and audience engagement.

Working in a professional studio changes the game entirely. With seamless integration of dynamic graphics, multi-camera setups for better angles and close-ups, and smooth transitions, brands can captivate their audiences like never before. These tools not only elevate the production quality but also keep viewers engaged, driving greater interaction on each brand’s respective TikTok Shop.

It’s exciting to help brands unlock this potential and create interactive, high-energy streams that leave a lasting impression during one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year.

Thrilled to have been working alongside Rossco to rig and operate the audiovisual systems for the Professional Tennis Players Association’s lawn party at Wimbledon! 🎉🔊

We staggered speakers all around the venue to ensure crystal clear audio, irrespective of position. Six handhelds were used for a panel of tennis players and sport executives to discuss their commitment to empowering players and enhancing their overall experience in the industry.

Pleased to have worked alongside Rossco once again, to facilitate video and vision mixing at the 10 year anniversary event of Coach Core.

On the video side, two TVs were connected to a vision mixer - which controlled multiple inputs to complement and support the delivery of speeches on stage.

Targeting 16-24 year olds who are not in education or employment, Coach Core delivers an inclusive and impactful sports coaching apprenticeship that develops the talents of young people and provides them with a range of vital skills for sport, work and life.

The event was visited by HRH Prince and Princess of Wales, who founded Coach Core as part of The Royal Foundation.
