What an evening investigating Llanrwst guide hall,all our guests joined in with everything,cat ball getting set off the beginning of night as we heard a couple of knocks when asked, The estes method had amazing results when one our guests family member came through and the dead bell kept going off when they laughed, at the end of the night we did a séance with two of our guests feeling a cold breeze

The halls look very different after dark…

With our ghost hunt at Llanrwst Guide Hall taking place next week, we went back at night to capture a few new photos of the building — and it’s safe to say the atmosphere speaks for itself.

Built in 1805 and standing over sealed graves, the hall has a long history at the heart of Llanrwst.

Whether you’re a sceptic, believer, or just curious, this is your chance to explore the building after hours and experience it for yourself.

LLANRWST GUIDE HALL – A HISTORY THAT NEVER LEFT

Tucked between the remains of an old agricultural yard and the original Llanrwst Smithy, Llanrwst Guide Hall is a familiar building with a past many don’t realise.

Built in 1805 as a Baptist chapel, it served the communities of Llanrwst and Llanddoged until 1881, when the congregation moved to Penuel Chapel. While the living left, 26 graves remained—later covered over, their headstones removed and the ground sealed.

The building went on to house the Salvation Army from 1923, before becoming home to the Llanrwst Girl Guides in 1958.

Today, little hints of its history remain—but some believe not everything was left in the past.
