So pleased to share the new layout in the shop, love my new tables and the way they have changed the feel of the space. It was a lot of hours from myself and others and I canā€™t wait for you to come and see. Few more tweaks planned along the way but Iā€™ll share those as they happen!

Iā€™m in the shop today, Wednesday 10th, 10-3pm, open rest of the week Thursday to Saturday as normal 10-3pm too. Hope to see you soon x

Hello and happy Saturday. Iā€™m in the shop today, 6th, 10-3pm.

A little bit of advance notice - Iā€™m shuffling things round in the shop which means quite a lot of stuff everywhere! Iā€™m going to try and not start too much until after lunch and Iā€™ll hopefully remain open all day but just wanted to share with you.

I do love a refresh so canā€™t wait to see it once itā€™s all put back together next week! Hope you have a lovely weekend all.

A new piece in the window - a full fabric embroidery of two woodpeckers. I enjoyed playing about with textures on these, the different bark effects and having the branches continuing outside of the mount. Iā€™ve never created artwork of woodpeckers so I hope you like how these turned out.

Taking pride of place is my new l a r g e piece, Gaia. But all sorts of new bits and pieces from artwork to bookmarks and brooches and cups and coasters - come for a browse. Youā€™ll find me at 56 Longbridge Street, Llanidloes, right by the Market Hall.

A new piece - Early morning country lanes.

Just as the light is growing and the sun is rising. As the colour is blossoming and the world is waking up. I love spring and summer country lanes that are bursting with life and so enjoyed creating this full fabric and embroidery piece. This is now in the new shop window for you to have a gander as youā€™re passing.

Well I think that itā€™s only fitting I share that I have a new version of my blue tit mixed media piece available in the shop - I had an emergency call from my son this morning regarding the blue t**s nesting in the garden and had to hot foot it home to hopefully help them šŸ¤žšŸ»

After that action packed start I am now in the shop until 3pm, itā€™s another glorious day so do pop in for a browse and a mooch round Llani too!

I feel very passionately about the importance of nature, its benefit to health and it being our greatest teacher. I think this flows on perfectly from my post yesterday sharing my latest large piece Gaia, or Mother Earth. My hope is that despite the enormous amount of distractions that are out there separating us from nature, that enough people continue to prioritise it and appreciate it and pass this knowledge and love down to the younger generations for them to be continue to care for this wonderful planet of ours.

And it doesnā€™t get much better then the beautiful bee šŸ

Embracing the flow of lifeā€™s boundless graceā€¦

Ooo after working hard this morning creating my new window display for June I just have to share this piece today. I created this piece a fair while ago and have been enjoying it in my home waiting for the right time to share it in the shop. June feels like the month for Gaia. A time of the highest sun, such abundance overflowing on the earth and everywhere rich with colour and vibrancy.

Gaia is a large mixed media piece literally overflowing with colour and texture. Fruit and flowers reflect abundance and the upcoming harvest and reflects such a time for gratitude for all we have. Gaia is the goddess of Mother Earth, nurturing, creating and the giver of life. This is a real statement piece waiting to find its new home. It is finished in a bespoke elm burl frame and I just canā€™t wait to see who she calls to.

I am in the shop today, Thursday 28th, until 3pm so come and see me, Gaia and all the other goodies filling the shop.
