Hello Friday!

Oh I do love dragons and this one appeared with such fire and yet grace. A mix of strong features and bright florals.

🔥 She has fire in her soul, and grace in her heart 💚

With metallic leaf details, I just love how this piece came out, and she’s certainly grabbing some attention in the window which is always lovely to see. She is now looking for her forever home, the perfect spot to enjoy her, so do get in touch if you’d like more details.

Hello and happy Thursday!

I am in the shop today, Thursday 6th, 10-3pm (I’ll be in the shop early this morning so I’m sure I’ll be open by 9am so if you’re passing do pop in)

I only have 2 of these handmade poppies left as they have been whizzing out the door, so if you’d like one do pop in sooner than later as I won’t be restocking these until next year.

Hello all, how are we doing?

Gearing up for my days in the shop, here is when I’ll be open:
🌀 Thursday 6th: 10-3pm
🌀 Friday 7th: *** 11-3pm ***
🌀 Saturday 8th: 10-3pm

My window is looking chocker block full of treasures. I have loved putting these pieces together. Kind of stealing the show is this beauty of a Chakra Goddess. Such beautiful colours and shapes, a full watercolour piece with gold leaf details in a STUNNING frame (photos don’t do it justice). I painted this piece earlier in the year and I’m now excited to share her and look forward to her finding her forever home whenever that might be. Please get in touch if you’d like further details.

A huge thankyou for all of your ongoing support for my little business - being able to spend most of my time doing something I love so much is a real privilege that I’m so grateful for.

In early today to do the new window for November… I’ll share more soon!

Not sure how we’re nearly in November but after the clock change I’m definitely feeling the urge to slow down and draw inwards a little bit. Slower mornings, cosy evenings and enjoying the beautiful show that nature is putting on at the moment. It’s a great time to start to reflect on the year so far, 2025 has been a biggie and I am so grateful for so much in my life. Starting to contemplate what I’d like to see flourish in 2026, no planning but just doing a bit of an autumn clean up, getting rid of things I no longer want to carry and feeling into what I’d like to bring to life when spring comes back around. Slowly slowly.

I am open in the shop from today, Thursday 30th, through to Saturday 1st, 10-3pm so do come for a browse - you’ll find these owl brooches and bookmarks alongside lots of other goodies.

In one of my happy places… surrounded by colour, inspired by nature and the beautiful places around me and influenced by the goddess and folklore.

I regularly get told by customers that my shop has a beautiful energy that draws you in, and that you need several laps to fully absorb and enjoy everything. I’m always so pleased that the care and love that goes into every single piece I make translates to those who come in for a browse and it makes me so happy when someone finds something that they just love, knowing that it’s all one of a kind and unique (I still do happy dances!)

It’s always hard to show in photos so please do plan a visit to come and see me and my shop when you can. My regular hours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10-3pm.

I do also offer custom artworks and so if you have a special occasion in mind please do get in touch to see if we can create something just perfect for it.

Thankyou so much for your ongoing support, it means the world. And a big thankyou to those of you who support and inspire me behind the scenes, allowing me to continue doing this.

🍂 Rolling hills 🍂

This new version of the rolling hills design is now in the shop. I love working with these colours and this piece features a moon and running hare.

And the great thing is that it compliments the colours of my window display too! The Chocolate Festival is on TODAY in Llanidloes so do make sure you visit to enjoy all that is on offer.

So tomorrow, Saturday 25th, we have here in Llanidloes. All sorts of delicious activities and experiences to enjoy with lots of local businesses all joining in to offer chocolate themed goodies. My offering is perfect for the chocolate lover out there… a coaster and a mug that is just perfect to have a tasty hot chocolate in. Do make sure you pop down to enjoy all that is on offer - what a perfect way to spend a Saturday.

Back to today for now though - I’m in the shop, Friday 24th, until 3pm (I’m open already at just gone 9am!).

Here I am a little while ago making these super bright lightening bolt brooches which I was asked to create for wedding favours - what a great idea!

A mixture of hot pink and red - such fun!

Hello, how are we all?

Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things in the shop this weekend and I’m back just in time for the happening on Saturday! I’ll be sharing my pieces specially designed for this event over the next day or so so keep an eye out!

Here’s a heads up for my opening hours this weekend:
⭐️ Thursday 23rd: 10-3pm (I will be closed for lunch from 12pm til 1.30pm)

Everything handmade by me!

I have always had a love for art, craft and design and so I love to keep busy with different projects. After filling my house with lots of my handmade items my husband suggested I started trying to sell some of my makes and White Flamingo was born!

White Flamingo has continued to develop over time and I now focus predominantly on paper, fabric and wood.

Paper: I create a variety of bespoke stationery and wedding invitations. Many originate from hand painted floral designs that are than combined with beautiful font and finished off with special touches such as envelope liners, hand dyed silk ribbons and wax seals. In addition to the invitations I also have a variety of styling items available for hire so why not get in touch to see how I can help you design your special day.

Fabric: I love to use machine embroidery to create artwork and use this technique to create framed artwork and other textile items.
