Over the past 8 months I’ve been dealing with one of the most stressful and emotionally draining business situations I’ve ever experienced.
It involved countless emails, disputed figures, sleepless nights, pressure, and a huge amount of time trying to reconcile accounts and protect my small business.
Thankfully the matter is now resolved and I can finally move forward, but the experience has taught me some very valuable lessons:
🌿 Always keep records
🌿 Always question figures that don’t seem right
🌿 Never be afraid to seek professional advice
🌿 And most importantly — trust your instincts
As small business owners we work incredibly hard, and situations like this can take a huge toll mentally as well as financially.
