Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre The Railway Café at Cynheidre is a not-for-profit charity scheme located in the Carmarthenshire countryside in Cynheidre, 6 miles north of Llanelli.

Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre is a not-for-profit café and community hub at the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, funded by UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund & Carmarthenshire County Council's Targeted Finance Fund. Run by volunteers of the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, it is currently operating via a temporary basis with a catering trailer. We have applied for grant funding to fully conv

ert a former Class 153 train into a fully fitted catering unit and community space. We are currently opening on a trial basis during summer 2023 between 10am and 2pm on most Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will advise on this page if for any reason we are not opening on one of those days. We are currently offering 🍔Burgers, 🥓Bacon rolls and ☕ hot and🥤cold drinks. We are accessible from the nearby cycle-way, so If you plan to go for a 🚲cycle over route no.47 of the Sustrans Cymru national cycle network between Sandy Water Park and Cross Hands you will pass our 🛤️railway at Cynheidre. If the gate is open then call in! For those of you considering travelling to us by car, the council have now installed brown signage on the B4309 at Cynheidre and Pontyates to help you find our site! Turn at the Cynheidre signs to cross over the railway bridge and take the next left to drive into our site. We look forward to welcoming you!

Will you be passing Cynheidre today either on the cycle way route 47 or by car? If so, then why not call into our lovely cafe? We are open from 10am until 3pm today and it’s also an open day at the railway with train rides running, so there is plenty to do on site.

Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre is an accessible community hub located in Cynheidre at the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway - Cynheidre Heritage Project, 6 miles from Llanelli. Located in an up-cycled railway carriage, we are directly beside the National Cycle Network route no. 47 from Llanelli to Tumble.

We extend a warm welcome and toilet facilities to all cyclists on the cycle path. We are also easily accessible from the B4309 with free parking. There is a woodland walk available to use on site and historic rail vehicles to look at.

Offering hot and cold food, cakes and refreshments and a place to chill out. We are open 10am-3pm on Saturdays and 11am-3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (closed on Sundays and Wednesdays). Hot drinks loyalty cards available.

All proceeds go towards developing the site further.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday to all cyclists, walkers and passers by!

We are open today from 11am until 3pm, serving up our usual excellent selection of hot and cold food. We are conveniently placed alongside Route 47 of the National Cycle Network at Cynheidre and we've got plenty of parking space for those that wish to visit by car.
