Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre The Railway Café at Cynheidre is a not-for-profit charity scheme located in the Carmarthenshire countryside in Cynheidre, 6 miles north of Llanelli.

Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre is a not-for-profit café and community hub at the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, funded by UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund & Carmarthenshire County Council's Targeted Finance Fund. Run by volunteers of the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, it is currently operating via a temporary basis with a catering trailer. We have applied for grant funding to fully conv

ert a former Class 153 train into a fully fitted catering unit and community space. We are currently opening on a trial basis during summer 2023 between 10am and 2pm on most Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will advise on this page if for any reason we are not opening on one of those days. We are currently offering 🍔Burgers, 🥓Bacon rolls and ☕ hot and🥤cold drinks. We are accessible from the nearby cycle-way, so If you plan to go for a 🚲cycle over route no.47 of the Sustrans Cymru national cycle network between Sandy Water Park and Cross Hands you will pass our 🛤️railway at Cynheidre. If the gate is open then call in! For those of you considering travelling to us by car, the council have now installed brown signage on the B4309 at Cynheidre and Pontyates to help you find our site! Turn at the Cynheidre signs to cross over the railway bridge and take the next left to drive into our site. We look forward to welcoming you!

In support of Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway - Cynheidre Heritage Project and Caffi SuperSprinter Café, Cynheidre we are proud to announce tags crafted from Class 153 374 in her ex EMT Regional colours which will release on our website this Friday 13th.

Tags will be jointly available on our website & as souvenirs from Caffi SuperSprinter Café which is located at the LMMR and will come in four variants: EMT Blue, Blue & Orange, Blue & Base & Rust n' Rivets.
