Don’t be afraid of a little colour… 🌸

There’s something I absolutely love about a wedding that isn’t afraid to make a statement.

We all adore the timelessness of neutrals, soft tones and understated elegance — and they will always have their place. But colour can bring an entirely different energy to a wedding.

It can make a room feel joyful, romantic, playful and unmistakably yours.

And adding colour doesn’t mean sacrificing a luxury aesthetic.

This tablescape is the perfect example — vibrant pinks, warm terracotta, rich reds and delicate florals, balanced with elegant silver, glassware and beautiful tableware.

The key is how you use it.

Rather than adding colour everywhere, I like to create intentional moments where it has impact — allowing the colour to become part of the overall story without overwhelming the design.

So if you're planning your wedding and you're wondering whether you can have colour AND sophistication…

Absolutely. You can have both. 🤍

In fact, I’d encourage you to embrace the colours you love.

✨ A little news worth sharing…

We’ve officially been accepted as an Elite Supplier for The Wed Collective. 🤍

And honestly? This one feels rather special.

Cariad & Amore has been invited to join their carefully curated bank of wedding stylists, giving style-conscious couples another way to discover and connect with us when looking for their perfect creative team.

To be selected as an Elite Supplier is a lovely recognition of the work, creativity and attention to detail that goes into every wedding we design — and one that I’m incredibly proud of.

The Wed Collective is all about bringing together exceptional wedding professionals for couples who care deeply about how their wedding looks, feels and comes together.

When you trust your stylist with the vision… 🤍

Three inspiration images.

One online consultation.

And a whole lot of trust.

That was all Tiegan & Shaun needed to give me the freedom to take their ideas and translate them into something completely their own for their wedding at New House Hotel.

Their brief was soft, romantic and full of pretty pastel tones — peaches, pinks and the feeling of an English flower garden in full bloom.

Using luxury-quality faux florals, we created a statement floral wedding arch that became the focal point of their ceremony, before carrying that same garden-inspired aesthetic through to their wedding breakfast tables.

Elegant tall-stemmed candle holders added height and warmth, while the abundance of florals supplied by sweetpea_florals__ created that beautifully layered, editorial feel.

And then came the finishing touch...

Personalised ivory ribbon with delicate gold lettering, adding just the right amount of understated luxury to the tables.

What I love most about this wedding is that Tiegan & Shaun didn't need to have every detail figured out.

They trusted me with their inspiration, their colour palette and their venue — and allowed me to do what I love most: turn a feeling into a fully considered design.

Because sometimes, the best wedding styling starts with knowing what you love... and trusting your stylist to take it from there. 🤍

Hi, I'm Cara. 🤍

The face behind Cariad & Amore Wedding & Event Design.

I'm based in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, and have the privilege of styling weddings throughout South Wales—transforming venues into beautiful, personal spaces that reflect each couple's story.

For me, styling has never been about simply placing decorations on tables.
It's about understanding the people behind the wedding. The atmosphere they want their guests to feel. The tiny details that often go unnoticed but make all the difference.

The moment a couple walks into their reception for the very first time and sees everything they've imagined brought to life.

Those are the moments I work for.

Outside of weddings, I'm a Further Ed. tutor and Psychology graduate, an Army Reservist, a coffee enthusiast, mum to my boys and teenage daughter, a dog mum and someone who firmly believes there's always room to learn something new.

I'm constantly investing in developing my skills so that every wedding I style is even better than the last.

I'm also known for...
