LEST WE FORGET 🌺

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined the Remembrance Sunday Commemoration in Llandudno.

This year we also marked 80 years since D-Day, we honour the brave soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy, as well as all who have served before and since.

Their sacrifices shaped our future, and we remember with gratitude all who have dedicated their lives to protect our country and way of life. 🌺

As the Ripon Community Poppy Project begin rolling their Wonderful Knitted Tank out of town tomorrow morning, thank goodness we’ll have the Llandudno Fireworks Display to distract us…. It’s been an honour & a privilege to work alongside these wonderful & indefatigable folk from Yorkshire.

We’ve loved working on Hush Hush projects like “Llandudno Winston Churchill” & the Top Secret D Day ready Private William Mackay with ’s Weather Girls

🎉 YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE LONGEST YARN IN LLANDUDNO 🎉

This Saturday and Sunday, October 26th & 27th, The Longest Yarn is set to mesmerise for one last time in Llandudno. Don’t miss your chance to experience this powerful tribute, where history and creativity come together.

🧶 What is the Longest Yarn? - A unique, hand-crafted tribute that commemorates the D-Day Landings of 1944. It's an 80-metre long installation, similar to a 3D tapestry, created entirely from wool and designed to narrate the story of the Normandy invasion and the global war effort behind it. Each panel along The Longest Yarn visually portrays pivotal moments, challenges, and achievements from D-Day, making it a modern equivalent to the Bayeux Tapestry.

🌺 Follow up with a walk through our town-wide Poppy Trail, immerse yourself in D-Day stories from the Knitted Churchill Tank to the Gown of Poppies.
