Below are images of the prize winners in this year's Sunflower Challenge. These include the Mayor, Cllr Marcia Morgan with Marion Sadler, Matt Crockett and Luke Bailey who received £30 prizes.

Representatives from Ysgol Cefnllys and Ysgol Trefonnen are also pictured receiving cheques for £100 for each school to be used for their gardening groups.

Thanks to everyone who participated and encouraged pollinators throughout the town. Well done everyone.

Congratulations to Marion Sadler who grew the tallest Sunflower in our challenge at 341cm. This is such a magnificent achievement from someone who has never grown a plant before.
