Food Creations - Award-winning event caterers at Bathgate Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join our dedicated and talented kitchen team. This is a full-time permanent position working within Bathgate Golf Club delivering exceptional food and service standards.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef looking for a great work-life balance with a 4 days on / 3 days off.

The Role:
Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service
Maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
Assisting with menu preparation and kitchen organisation
Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and food safety standards
Working across busy services and events at Bathgate Golf Club
Helping ensure a smooth-running and efficient kitchen operation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Minimum 3 years’ chef experience
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
Strong leadership and organisational skills
A positive and hardworking attitude
The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
A driving licence is beneficial but not essential
Schedule:
4 days on / 3 days off
