We're at the held of this month's BedroomTraxx Glasgow mix series.

Given that we're allowed to party with each other again, festivals and clubs are open for business, this mix is an attempt to signify what an 'all day sesh' might sound like over a 24 hour period. From the daytime disco cuts and edits to more club focussed elements and finally after party vibes. As day descends into night, we gradually start to dance a bit faster and more erratic. Back on Melodic Distraction today at 3pm. This month Stewart and I are reunited in the studio (aka my bedroom) after a bunch of sending back and forth mixes to keep you all entertained over lockdown.

Expect crap chat & good tunes!

This show is loosly based around the fact that lockdown is easing and we will soon be able (hopefully) to dance with our pals again and see a bunch of acts we've been wanting to see, instead of doing Zoom quizzes (Remember that? One day you just decided OK, no more Zoom quizzes)

This show is full of old bangerz, new bangerz and two bangerz presenting it.

This week Stewart will guide you through a full hour without fellow presenter Kev by his side. Fear not, what you lose in that extra radio voice you gain in another episode of 'Everything is Borrowed' - the feature where Stewart highlights nuances and commonality between two or more tracks in his arsenal.

This months theme of 'Everything is Borrowed' will be the Monks of Shaolin meeting a London drum & bass dawn on a smooth jazz battlefield.

This month we have invited our friend, fellow DJ, club promoter, UK Bass & Funky lover and all round lovely guy Nick a.k.a Skillis to do a 45min guest mix.

Skillis runs the Edinburgh club nights Headset & SSL aka Sound System Legacies, the former of which I was lucky enough to play at for their 5th Birthday Party for Le Freak & Friends. With previous guests such as Hodge, Mosca, Roska, Peverlist and so many more, these night are leading the way in Bass & Techno music in Scotland.

Skillis is no stranger to radio with standout shows on NTS with Livity Sound, Rinse with Hodge and Noods with Lewis from Redstone Press. He also has a handful of his own shows - You can catch him on Mode London, 1020 Radio and EHFM when you inevitably go and check out his other stuff.

Skillis is a real advocate for homegrown Scottish talent and we thought it only right to put him on display.

We are back on Melodic Distraction today at 3pm with a new feature for this months show.

Kevin is using 6º of Separation to link all of the Melodic Distraction 'Top Artists of 2020' as taken from their website in 6 steps or less through labels they have released on or remixes they have done.

The show will be complemented with some tracks that Stewart is loving just now including a wee nod to the late MF DOOM at the start of the show.

Oh, even managed to squeeze an unreleased number from Kevin in this month's show :)

This month Kevin takes the reins for a full hour.
