Introducing the first artist for tomorrows launch party… Jacklyn ✨

Jacklyn is an ever talented musician travelling from the North East who’s production and mixing style has led to appearances the world over from radio slots at Rinse FM, Hor Berlin and most recently Newcastle’s Wet series [second slide] to live performances at world renowned venues like Tresor and Meat Free at the DBA!

Jacklyn’s productions - influenced by pioneers such as DVS1 & Detroit’s Jeff Mills; build four to the floor energies that cut through layers of passion, euphoria and have led to the now established artist being hotly tipped by as someone you need to see thrive!

A familiar face and friend of Liverpool with blue jay and highly anticipated appearances for beloved outings at , 24 Kitchen Street and .l.c.uk

We can’t wait to see what Jacklyn brings to the launch party of Watt Hz? as we approach a decade of music in Liverpool and return to the intimate settings of Kabin space tomorrow from 19:00.

In addition to the announcement earlier this week that we have to postpone Watt Hz? 5.2 please see below information from RA for all ticket holders:

To keep your ticket, head to your order in the “My Tickets” section and click "Keep Tickets". Your ticket will be valid for the new date.

If you would prefer a refund, there will also be a "Refund Tickets" button in your order history. Click this and a refund will be processed back into the bank account used to purchase your tickets. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to land in your account.

If you have multiple tickets and would like to refund only part of your order please reach out to RA - [email protected]

You have 14 days to choose one of these options after which they will no longer be available and your ticket will remain valid for the new date.

Please note these options are only available via the website and not in the mobile app.

Introducing the latest signing to the Watt Hz? Collective .ctrl

A regular face of the North West’s underground rave scene since his teens, Max draws key influence from the rough and ready, upbeat mixing styles of the 90s, primarily those of Detroit & Chicago.

Although principally focused on Techno and House, Max’s dynamic and enigmatic sets can freely span a depth of genres, with his collection also playing host to quantities of UKG, Jungle and more.

Max joins Watt Hz? As a resident DJ, and will be taking over as host of the monthly Watt Hz? Invites show on Melodic Distraction.

Watt Hz? Invites... Faster Horses

This weekend we are live in the studio with Manchester’s frontrunner of techno-tinged-transcendence, Faster Horses!

Faster Horses is an exciting producer, DJ and head honcho at Seikan Records.
His sound encompasses a unique focus on contrast and euphoria and has led the Horse to significant appearances at European hotspots like Ismus, Rote Sonne, Teletech and The Warehouse Project’s XXL.

2023 is set to be an exciting year for the Liverpool-born artist with EPs planned on labels such as Euromantic, Space Trax and Ismus, alongside many more appearances across the continent and further afield.

We will be broadcasting on Saturday from 6-7pm GMT.

* Important Update on 10.12.21

We are still going ahead tonight but unfortunately due to updates to government restrictions on Wednesday evening we were unable to fly MARRØN from Amsterdam to Liverpool this morning.
We have been working tirelessly with the Arts Council for the last two weeks to gain an exemption which was granted, but updates to requirements that came in to effect on the night of 8.12.21 sadly meant that we had postpone his flight due to a potential breach of the exemption contract and not enough time to gain permission from the arts council.

We have had one day to react to guidelines that are unclear, and it is with the safety of the venue in mind that we have been forced to make this decision.

Thankfully the rest of the line up is already in the UK and we can still continue tonight with an extended set and a late change to the line up and hope that you can understand how tough it is for events to operate under the circumstances.

2 days to go and the response to our next line up, through thick and thin has been incredible.

It wouldn’t be a WHz? party without a few upgrades so we’re currently working super hard to curate some late (early hrs) ad-ons 😈
