Active Mountaineering was set up in 2014 by Chris Littlehales to offer mountain challenge events in an environmentally friendly way. From the start, we have led the way and set the example on how to run mountain events in a way that minimises our impact whilst educating our clients about the environment that we work in. We have constantly refined and developed our National 3 Peaks Challenge event

so that we are the only company to consistently deliver this event in the true 'car park to car park' time of 24 hours. Our continuing success and growth have enabled us to start offering fully guided trips to Kilimanjaro with further destinations soon to be added.

Kilimanjaro! Done!

That’s another amazing Kilimanjaro trip done and this is just an update that we’re all down safe and well.

Challenge No.14 out of 14 completed in the genuine, No Fu***ng Faffing, 24 hours!!!

We started at 8.45am on Saturday and finished at 8.35am Sunday at the BOTTOM of Snowdon. Not at the top!!! Not with made up times!!! A genuine 24 hours, car park to car park challenge.
