Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate two incredible charities that we are proud to support here at The Isla Gladstone Conservatory, both of whom have been recognised as finalists at the Liverpool Heroes Awards 2026.
💛 Your Light Matters has been nominated for the Community Project Award, and we couldn’t think of a more deserving organisation. Earlier this year, our grounds were transformed into a powerful field of light, representing the lives of 4,300 men lost to su***de. More than just a statistic, each light represented someone’s dad, husband, brother, son, friend, colleague, or loved one. It was a moving reminder of the importance of raising awareness, encouraging conversations, and supporting those who may be struggling. We were honoured to play a small part in helping bring this impactful project to life.
💜 Love Jasmine has been nominated for Charity of the Year as they approach an incredible milestone – a decade of supporting bereaved parents and families following child loss, as well as those whose child has received a terminal health diagnosis. Despite recently facing uncertainty due to funding challenges, the charity has been met with overwhelming support from the community they have touched over the last ten years. We are privileged to host their monthly coffee mornings and look forward to welcoming guests to their charity event at The Isla Gladstone Conservatory on 25th September. Their compassion, dedication, and unwavering support for families during the most difficult times is truly inspiring.
As a venue, we are incredibly fortunate to work alongside organisations that make such a profound difference within our communities. These charities are driven by some of the most passionate, selfless, and inspirational people we have had the privilege of meeting, and we are proud to support them in any way we can.
So please, head over to The Guide Liverpool to make your vote 🩷
Congratulations to everyone at Your Light Matters and Love Jasmine on your well-deserved nominations. Whatever happens on awards night, your impact on the lives of so many people is already something extraordinary.
