This was like shooting Carry On Up The Park 😂

The wonderful Tania will be holding cake decorating sessions on the day of our event.

She is also kindly baking our cakes for the afternoon tea after our clean up.

It’s just over 2 weeks till our event

who are lending us a generator for our event (thanks to John for sorting out the drop off and pick up)

The singer who’s voice is on this video is one of our performers on the day

He will be performing alongside .topia for 2 hours of cleaning up our park with .gc and guests and and .floorads will@be doing some jet washing as well as Tania who will be doing some cake decorating.

After the clean up we have another hour of live music with a tombola , cakes and refreshments

In less than 3 weeks our event - Pick it, Play it - Everton Park will take place from 10am in Everton park - near the viewing platform

2 hours of live music with a clean up of the park with .gc leading litter pick groups and trimming back the over growth and weeds with .floorads joining us to do some jet washing.

After the clean up we will have another hour of live music and Tania will be cake decorating with anyone who wants to have a go and we will after cakes and refreshments

We will be joined by special guests. and

Every Monday morning at 9:30 our team of fantastic volunteers meet up to keep SFX looking beautiful.

From gardening and light maintenance to a bit of dusting, there is a job for everyone.

When the works all done we have a well deserved cuppa and a chat.

In Everton we used to have 3 Libraries when I was growing up

Now we have ZERO

Greatie Library
was demolished under the failure that is project Jennifer and it was promised to be replaced that did not happen

Breck Road Library
Closed to the public when they decided to shut down and strip the community of the last library we had

Everton Library
Grade 2 listed - left to rot. I learned to read in here and to is a disgrace to the cities heritage and our community that this vital building has been allowed to fall into a state of neglect and disrepair
